Spot on, we need to be smart with these cants of refs all against us.
Two blatant yellows can't blame the ref
This isn't a discipline problem. I'm not convinced we are less disciplined than any other team in the league.
The refs have an unconscious bias against us so we can be a disciplined as you like we'll still be getting more reds than other teams.
We just have to try and put games away before the refs have a chance to influence it.
Some of it was definitely our players faults but some is 100% down to the refs.
Take Partey booking, im like is that really a booking, they were basically shoulder to shoulder. It was just a foul if that. yet he got a yellow.
If that was any other team the players doesnt get a booking unless its in the 80th Mins

The glee in Oliver face as he brandished the double yellow. Corrupt cants!

How many times have you ever seen that happen before? The player was stupid but you can't have a situation where a player goes into a situation not knowing they are on a card it will adversely affect the decisions they make.
OK so the first one he raised his hands to stop a throw in was always a yellow
Our very own raul was yellowed for something similar vs city
The second booking he just took him out again a standard yellow
Martinelli was unaware he was on a yellow when he commited the second offence,
I don't think there is an agenda against Arsenal. Its just that we are a bit gobby to the ref and young/excitable which rubs the refs the wrong way. Oliver was right wound up and thats not proper refereeing.
No but the ref signaling advantage after the first surely would give your player a hint he may be punished shortly

Yes but again you have to give the player a chance to know he's on a card which clearly in this case he didn't. Any sane person wouldn't have done what he did so close to the first incident if he had known.
How many times does a player commit a foul and while he is waiting to be booked picks up the ball or stands in front of a quick free kick? Technically 2 yellows bit only gets booked once. Oliver c0cked up. There really is not defence of it.
Four red cards in 2022, before the middle of February. Crazy.

I come back to my original point how many times has this ever happened to other teams. You can question the players actions at the same time but it's not often I agree with Arteta but he said he's never seen that happen before in his career so I'd expect this to set a precedent and expect to see it happen more often but somehow I doubt it.
What do you want the ref to do?
He played advantage as we were on the break despite the attempted 5hit housery
Spurs get away with murder, did you see how they get away with fouls yesterday which led to that “illegal” goal against poor Southampton. Arsenal on the other hand aren’t allowed to touch opponents it’s actually becoming so biased and comical how certain officials keep destroying our games aka Man City.

The player was fouled as he took the throw, I think he has an excuse for it not being the best throw.

I want him to give every player a fair chance. If I cross a road without first checking for traffic it maybe stupid and reckless but I don't know for sure I will get knocked over. At the end of the day we will just have to agree to disagree.

OK we'll call it quits enjoy the rest of your evening
The problem I have with Michael Oliver is his lack of consistency, there were far worse fouls committed on both sides in the first half that received no Yellow, then he awards the same player two in ten seconds without that player knowing he's on a Yellow - taken in context on how he refereed the game as a whole it's just poor refereeing.
