mind that time rangers had a 6 point lead and are now a point behind after getting absolutely scudded in the last old firm game.

Mind that time we skelped Dortmund in the Europa in their own ground and Celtic got scudded off some reindeer farmers in the Europa diddy at home.

Some night that.

We were poor last night but they were a good team. Caught us by surprise, that’s for sure.

I think they would have beaten Rangers too, to be honest.
They beat us and we’re better than Rangers as the table - and the last OF - would so irrefutably show.

I’m afraid that’s just science. Perhaps it would be more comforting for you to think of it as cheeseburgers?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would Celtic have beaten Dortmund last night, mate?

It was like watching us play against ourselves last night

had to laugh at our fans on twitter

'get the job done tonight, we can rest players before Hibs away'

seemed as if the players were thinking that as well

i dont think we had control of the ball last night, even when we had it we were bouncing about like we were on a trampoline, struggled to maintain composure.

Would have scudded them mate.

See, Rangers scudded them. We scudded Rangers. Therefore we'd scud them.

QED.

Underestimating rivals is dangerous...can Rangers use that for our OF collapse?🤣

Nah, we were just outplayed👍

What has the Queen's big boat got to do with the price of fish?
😳🤣

Scudded here means bad luck or jinxed it, btw.

Then there are scud mags🐱

we got it wrong last night and we were punished for it, manager picked wrong team and players didn't perform so an organised side made comfortable work of us.

you know its an off night when you get one back and then they score a goal as bad as that third one.

Outplayed and out tactic'ed last night. I hope Ange takes it as a learning experience and the players take it as a reminder than winning an OF mid-season isn't the same as winning the league. Also, you couldn't pay me to eat a Big Mac. I'd go quarter pounder with cheese every time.

At least the wee baldy guy got a goal.

Might start showing some form

he has 4 goals in 6 games.

2 of which he came off the bench.

You were calling for GG instead.

That tells you all you need to know about how good Maeda has been. I don't think his finishing is in doubt but his all round game needs sharpening up. Early days but i thought i'd get on his back now and hope it pays off.

posted on 18/2/22

i was yeah, i think he's a bigger presence and suits our style of play a bit better.

i think maeda has started alright though, 4 in 6 is pretty decent

obviously neither of them start when Furuhashi is fit, he's a different gravy to both of them

Aye he is but thankfully seems to spend a lot of time out.

No it doesn't. Horses for courses. Different players suit different games.
Not that that excuses last night at all. We were poor. They were good. That kind of thing never ends well.
For us anyway.

Sidebar: I was supposed to be going to London for the weekend but my flight's been cancelled. Where can we go instead for a romantic break for a few nights that the weather will allow (probably driving now).

I expect the responses to be in a similarly mature vein as I myself would take.
