Looks like we've got another player in Diaz, actually thought he's been much better in other games so far but today he gets his first goal, that's how it goes sometimes I guess. Great finish though.

Can't say I disagree, the improvement when he went off was massive as well. Likely to find himself down very far down the pecking order I imagine. Jones hasn't been in the squad in the last 3 games and can see him replacing him now.

If it becomes evident at 50 minutes that something is not working why wait until 65 minutes to do anything about it. Yes it worked today, but other days we.mihht have only got 1 goal back and if we had those extra 15.minutes it would give time to get the extra goal.

It was working though, we were all over them they just got lucky with the deflection and it looked worse than it was.

I thought you overreacted a bit tbh. Saying it happens time and time again. You know it doesn't.

Thiago superb off the bench today, calmed things down, played some lovely stuff, and gave Henderson a bit more freedom to play also.
As for Ox, no issue with him coming on, or even starting occasionally, but not coming into a completely rearranged midfield.
Joe Gomez ain't a full back, and should never play there again, unless in a true emergency.

I don't necessarily disagree but I think he could really do better than what we're seeing. He needs to be more a part of the team, try playing teammates in instead of shooting all the time.

Poor enough from the reserves.

Ox should make the bench for the league cup final after turning that show in.

Origi is like that kid you know will only turn up when there's a final and like those kids you know the manager will then put them in even though they've never bothered for training

I think people are being a bit hard on Ox personally.

Let's not forget he was good and scored against Brentford and Palace. Very difficult to come in and perform off the cuff every game. Extremely poor today for sure but can cut him some slack in the circumstances.
