I’d say the same to start and see how we go.
I need to see a Skipp - Bentancur midfield

Hope this is our midfield for the rest of the season, and then add Bissouma in the summer.
Rodon in back 3, Davies instead of Sessegnon
Reggie could be back depending how quickly he tests negative and also if there’s any residual effects, but I suspect it’d be too soon.
In which case same team. Sess will be under less pressure than against City so could be a take to build some confidence.
Feels like a massive match. Burnley are coming into form and going to be very tough to beat. If we win this then the next two on paper look good games for us. Both Leeds and Everton are hopelessly out of form and incapable of defending.
Need a minimum of 7 points from these 3 imo.

Be more a fullback than a wingback, be better defensively than Sessegnon
Sessegnon needs some confidence and he wasnt great Saturday but he wasnt crap as people make out
when we should have more of the ball than them, you cant just play 5 defensive defenders when the system relies so much on the wing backs
Sessegnon was okay v city.

he was brilliant vs Liverpool too
people need to chill out, hes only 21 and had rotten injury luck amongst other things since he joined

I didn't watch the city game, however Alistair Gold mentioned Sess was good defensively.
So much so that Sterling felt he had to swap sides as he wasn't getting much joy down our left
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One stage of the match he had sterling, Walker & silva down that side.
He wasn’t amazing or anything but did his job and helped the team win
think 6-7/10 from him, seen some give him a 3 ffs
just has that summer window everyone rages about still looming over his head

apparently Emerson might have a knock so we might see the might Doherty start
Sess definitely deserves to start v Burnley, I thought he was decent Saturday.
I can not warm to Doherty though
Think I would rather Tanganga at RB
Sess. defended ok, was skinned once by Foden, but in possession was poor, especially when pressed in our half, he coughed it up too many times, rather than clearing his lines. He may not have the same issue vs Burnley but that would be the side i'd attack if I was them.

He was a 4 at best, he did very little offensively or defensively, other than he was just on the pitch. But as he is still relatively young, I would give him another go. Conte seems to like him, having picked him for consecutive matches. But he definitely needs to do a lot more to hold down a place long term.

Bissouma will be doing bird in all probability, and for a very long term if he is convicted. Forget about him.
Knowing Spurs and injuries, I think we can probably forget about Skipp for the season. One match, turns into two matches, turns into three matches out, turns into missing the rest of the season with Spurs players.
