Donn, why do you do this?
If he does go at the end of the season lets build a statue. The man who saved us from the wilderness. Don't you agree Don?

Realistically, probably mid-table Championship imho.
Bielsa is the cause of all the problems at the club at the moment and if the owner doesn’t rein him in and fast we are heading for the championship. He upset the whole defence yesterday when Koch had to be submitted.Everyone knows Forshaw is the best Dm when Phillips isn’t available. He has too much power and must be a nightmare to work with.He thinks he knows better than anyone else .Well at the moment he doesn’t seem to have a clue.

You certainly know how to get attention
Here we go again, eee-i-forfeck'sake, here we go again!.
Surely Donny it can't be any harder to bookmark your own club then it is ours?..
Is this a wind up or is he serious ?
was it not 0-0 when koch went off
Yes it was 0-0 when Koch was subbed but 4-2 after Bielsa made the changes nuff said and all this talk about a statue .if he did what Don Revie did he could talk.
I suppose when Koch immediately went off a lot of managers would have still brought on Firpo but then moved Dallas into midfield and then let Foreshaw play in his most effective holding position which Bielsa hadvpreferred Koch... Ooh misses...
That would have seemed the most logical thing to do instead of Dallas going to RB and shuffling around with Ayling going into the middle of the defence, Struiyk going into the midfield holding role and basically square pegging again.
Interesting on MOTD last night Jonathan WoodGate was a punter analysing our poor defensive set up at that first corner Mcguire scored from. He spoke very well I thought and makes you wonder why if a relatively rookie manager like Woidgate can see our obvious frailties at corners why we continue to set up like we do when it would appear to be asking for trouble.

We we're top at Christmas under Christiensen and playoff contenders under Monk, so Bielsa getting us up is not a huge deal. Lets not forget, Huddersfield, Blackpool, Reading Brentford, Watford, Brighton, Sheff Utd have all gotten out of the championship, with far less resources than what we have, so again, not a big deal. We played brilliant football under Bielsa in the championship yet finished with less points than Wolves and Norwich and then was brilliant in the empty Premier league stadiums and we matched Chris Wilder's finish of 9th. Reading finished top 8 I believe in there first season so all talk of a statue is absolutely laughable frankly. He's been brilliant, the best we've had in the last couple of decades but Howard WON the top division and he doesn't get as lauded as much as Bielsa does. Hope he stays, keeps us up and gets a good send off if he does go.
a statue is absolutely laughable frankly.
You do realise I said that to wind up Donn?
While I think he is very overrated in general he’s done a good job at Leeds.
Luckily, most fans will see him as a legend and give him the credit he deserves.
I'm only old enough to have seen Leeds from the Wilko era onwards, but never seen us play this sort of entertaining football before and wonder if we will again, even when we did well under O'Leary we had a squad absolutely miles better than this one.
His main problem is tiny squad and persistant injury problems to key players this season, lets not pretend we would have done any better last season with Bamford, Phillips and Cooper for nearly the whole season, as well as all the other injury's added in, our whole squad, youth teams etc are still way behind from been out of the top flight for 17 years.
People like Donn and Lowfields are part of the embarrassing minority. When we confirm prem football for next season, they will slither back into their holes.

Shaun, did Christiensen or Monk take us up?..
Or was it Bielsa that got us over the line?..
It makes me wonder if the Don or Howard had the internet ripping the crap out off them, or the players in their teams taking the same crap players take these day's, I wonder if they would have done any better then what Bielsa has these days!..
Oh, and look at the standard off players we had and compare them with the so called overrated players we now have that are doing as good a job as they can but still getting dragged through the crap mill!..
I wonder what we'd had won if Bielsa had any of the two teams that did so well for us, or even the top players of today that people want that are a little/lot out of our price range?..
Bielsa got us up a year late in my opinion.Against Derby after Berardi was yellow carded he should have brought on Jansson who was on the bench but no as ye know Berardi was subsequently sent off which resulted in us losing the match.

I think some of the criticism on here is based on the emotion and frustration of our situation. Some of it is misfortune in the number of injuries, some in the squad depth. It is what it is. I'm not as convinced as you about the "when" we secure premiership football for next season, I'm in the "if" and fingers crossed party!

you seem to rely on hindsight
i wanted to kill myself watching monk ball. we were burnley before burnley.
Marcelo is a genius. No less than Pep Guardiola said so.
That's good enough for me.
I don’t believe any coach could have got more out of the squad Bielsa inherited.
I don’t believe any coach could step in now and do a better job.
I’d be surprised if we got anything at Anfield, it might be wise to rest some players for the Spurs game that is definitely winnable.

Jansson was to blame for not playing, he played his holiday card with Monk and when he tried it again with Bielsa he was well and truely put in his place!..
Well done Bielsa!..
If every player was substituted after a yellow we'd need yellow card subs to replace players that get yellows!..
Somehow I don't think that'd work like a concussion sub!°..
Your talking rubbish Germany.Weall know some players who get yellow are in danger of a second and some players play on with no problem.
As I said on another thread - comedy gold
Koch “submitted”
I'm talking rubbish Donny, the only rubbish I'm talking is suggesting playing yellow subs, that way the manacoach can change players with no worries for injury subs!..
Good idea eh?..
But the biggest rubbish around here is knowing the crap that's coming as soon as your name appears!..
But like Stoopo says, comedy gold!.
