He’s brilliant and I’d love watching him at OT.
It’s our clubs modern DNA to buy right footed left sided players every season anyway.
That Dutch midfielder at Everton looks promising.
Calvert-Lewin could be ok... Last seems he was on fire, less so this season, of course, but that can happen. Still think he'd be a decent option for us.
Saint-Max can play wherever he wants, he's just too much fun to say no to.
I'd make a double swoop for Guimaraes as well, obvs.
Saint Max is pretty versatile. I think he's led the line for them a fair bit too.
I'd be enquiring about him even if Newcastle stay up tbh. Though I appreciate very unlikely in that case
Any of their Centre Backs.
None of them are good enough
Saint max maybe but the bar codes won't go down

The local rumours suggest Raphinha is Liverpool bound. Not hearing much about Phillips possible destination since his injury.

If he is coming to us it'll be to replace Salah....which is a concern. Unless we sell Mane and Bobby this summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the deal is a straight swap, the problem is Salah will be knackered after 10 games under Bielsa!
I can’t see Liverpool going for Raphinha, Phillips will go there I reckon.

I think Salah is the best in the world right now. If he played for Real over the last three years he would have Ronaldo numbers.
IMO.

If the current bottom three (Watford, Burnley, Norwich) went down then probably:
Watford, Ismaïla Sarr - 23 year old pacey, direct winger who predominantly plays on the right but can play down the middle and on the left too. Five goals and one assist but he’s been injured a bit this season. His defensive stats are pretty good too and could be a good addition for a more attack minded team.
Same for Emmanuel Dennis, but he’s 24 and has 14 goal contributions in 22 league games, which is good for a team who never score…
Burnley, Dwight McNeil - Still only 22, former United academy player who’s carved out a solid PL career for himself.
He’s been in Burnley’s first team for about four years now, I don’t think he has enough to be a top quality left-winger, but I think he’d be a really good left-back, if we signed him as a defender I think he’d be class, not so much as a forward.
His “pressures”, “interceptions”, “blocks” and “tackles” are all in the 75th percentile in the league, he’s tall with a decent turn of speed and delivers a good ball into the box.
Norwich…
Maybe Angus Gunn as back-up to De Gea if Henderson wants to leave this summer? They have a 19 year old Irish international called Andrew Omobamidele who has looked fairly solid on the few occasions I’ve seen him, could be another Chris Smalling type signing?
