One of the "unbiased" made this claim:
"There’s actually no contact from wolves player to arsenal player."
Watch the clip and tell me that is true... Unbiased

"No clear bias"Arsenal haters with no clear bias
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to make up claims of them being Arsenal haters because that's the inly way you can justify a claim of bias. That's pretty pathetic Donald.

If anyone watches that and thinks it isn't a penalty is clearly biased, a liar or a moron.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your an Arsebal fan. You claiming it should be a penalty is the literal definition of giving in to your bias.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a very, very clear foul.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well in this thread alone there have been three people who dont support either team involved (so no clear bias) and have said they don't think it was a penalty, or that the they feel the ref favoured arsenal.
On the other hand we have several people, all Arsenal fans (so with a clear bias) who are claiming it should have been a penalty.
So the fact that there is this debate suggests it isn't a very clear foul, and only one side of the debate can be accused of being blinded by bias.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t accept the bias claim for two reasons:
(1). “Neutral” fans don’t exist, so claims that they are a better judge is nonsense - I see some supporters keener on seeing a certain team lose than their own team win !
(2) I’m not looking at the penalty decision from a place of anger, Arsenal won the game anyway and deserved to do so, and I don’t think all referees are against Arsenal ! My concern is that VAR cannot see that the Wolves player gets nowhere near the ball and shoves Martinelli over ! If they can’t get stonewall penalties right with VAR it’s not good for the game and they should be seeking alternative employment. 😐

If you can't see the contact there I dunno what to tell you? Shoulder through him stops him getting a shot off
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shoulder through him? Clearly shoulder to shoulder contact, which is generally allowed in football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He doesn't get anywhere near his shoulder though? He clatters his shoulder into Martinelli's midriff because of the way he's lining up to take his shot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he doesn't. Watch your link again and you can see he comes in from the side and into the shoulder. This can easily be seen by the movement of Martinelli's left arm.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He doesn't come into the shoulder though, because Martinelli goes to shoot and as a result he puts his arm out, which is where Semedo comes through his body and stops him getting his shot off. Is he just supposed to never shoot and keep his shoulder there in case someone clatters into the side of him?
Honestly if we gave away that penalty the only person I'd be mad at would be the our own defender.
