What a giggle. Up in Glasgow with my Bear of a brother-in-law who almost wet himself when we drew and they went 2-0 up. Only to discover a couple of hours later that the Bears had keeched the bed. Again. You really do have to laugh.Oh Happy Day
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye but at the end of the day, he’s going home to horse your sister.

Fcking ragin after that game today

First goal easily preventable if either McGregor or Goldson take the responsibility….they both leave it and it’s a tap in

Second goal, many tackles do Tav/Goldson need to make ffs

Seen folk having a go at Gio…not the managers fault when basic mistakes are allowing teams to score 2 goals when they’ve only had 3 shots on target.

P!ss poor, 2-0 up, 80% possession, 30 shots at goal…should be fcking out of sight

Frustrating doesn’t even remotely cover it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not the managers fault? Were you not 4 points clear at the top when he started? Extended that to 6.

It's the same players so whats changed?

What's his win rate? Probably 50-60% I'd guess
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve dropped points in 5 out of the 15 league games since he’s been in charge, so his win rate is 66%

Drew at Pittodrie in January, not gonna grumble about that, first points we dropped under him

Ross County game, 2 goals absolutely gifted

Dundee Utd game, stupidly trying to play it out from the back constantly, give it away in our own half several times during a 5 minute period conceding 3 corners and putting ourselves under pressure in the process, and they score from one of them…..didn’t get breaks in front of goal or from the ref otherwise in that game

Game today, both goals very preventable, first one especially…can’t blame Gio for McGregor and Goldson fcking about instead of taking responsibility and clearing their lines

Only game I lay a good bit of blame at Gio’s door for is the Celtic game because his plan to sit back just didn’t work but even then, he said the players didn’t do what he had asked them to do and we absolutely will not set our stall out to play like that again against you……he also made changes at half time in that game that had a positive effect but wasn’t our night at all

We won 4-2 in Dortmund under him, game plan was absolutely spot on

He made the change at half time in the home leg against Dortmund that saved the game for us, as we were on the rack big time.

He seen us through to that tie after a 2-0 home win against Sparta Prague

So no, I don’t blame Gio for all and sundry……the amount of goals we have given away due to some real comedic defending this season has been ridiculous….that’s before and after Gio arrived

McGregor is also looking like a weak link now, I’d drop him, might start giving Gio some stick if he continues to show faith in him, as he really is looking done

Think it is harsh Ross Wilson getting it tight for the Jan signings...no way he has the final say on Diallo & Ramsay. In particular, the latter will have been a long conversation with him, Gio, board given the risks involved.

Both mental signings

A walking sick note and a kid who Man Utd threw £36m at (or whatever it was) who hardly ever featured. Looked like a rabbit stuck in headlights.

GvB was the only cheap and immediate option available. He’s not up to the job.

The players were already underperforming under Gerrard.

Tactically, bar the Celtic game, Gio has been better than Gerrard. He’s not had a fit cb pairing for the last couple months, Bassey is a left back. Which makes the decision to play Lundstram at cb even worse.

The signings look to be a complete waste. Souttar would have made a huge difference these last two months. A joke we didn’t get a centre back. Only positive from Ramsey at a stretch is that it would have shown to our players that possibly do want to leave they’re not bigger than the club, and if he does get fit he’ll be a huge boost to the team.

6 points ahead on Boxing Day-3 points behind now. 11 points dropped in your last 8 games.

Either you have a lot of players making a lot of mistakes, or your statement has a lot of holes. I think a combo of these is probably most likely.

This isn’t meant to be an ‘a bit’ but relative to the almost unprecedented squad issues - most of our own making - across the city it cannot be the excuse. Correct me if wrong but Goldson has been available throughout, no?

I remember games with Welsh and a teen at CB.
No strikers.
A teen at LB.
Teens up front.
A RB at LB.
A MF at CB.
A donkey at CF.
The list is endless.

League to tight to call but I think we are ahead on excuses should we fail to win?

whodunnit would be your go-to guy for what does and doesn’t constitute an excuse.

Not seen him on today though, oddly.

He only seems to really contribute during working hours-which is a surprise for bear, clearly…
