October 2004, October Trafford. The ref puts in the most obviously corrupt performance.
His punishment? Promotion to head of PGMOL
Of course it is corrupt, Mike Riley is a cheating little monkey scrote.
Not as bad as the boxing last night.
Everyone accepts boxing is full of corruption though. With the PL it is ignored.
Tech or no tech some element of bias towards certain teams will be there. The issue is one of competence. I don't think we have the brightest refs in all the leading leagues, just look at the length of time that use up taking a forensic approach. It it's not clear and obvious, it's not a pen or a red card
As for the possible pen to Everton. The mad rule about the arm and tee shirt line is bonkers. Before the rule was changed that would have been a pen. In this instance VAR interpreted the ball was within the tee shirt line therefore not a pen.

Nah, it was deemed "inconclusive" - the "clear and obvious" excuse they use to cheat.

From your link:
The VAR, Chris Kavanagh, felt there was not conclusive evidence that the ball was more in the 'red zone' - the area below the sleeve line - than not, and that was it was not an obvious error.
So inconclusive, VAR didn't conclude it was in the tee shirt line.

I saw the VAR footage 2 or 3 times, it was conclusive to me that it was not a pen.
If indeed the VAR ref came to the decision it was inconclusive then I go back to my initial comment about our refs. Lack of competence!

Yeah, so biased towards Man City or Everton. That title race or relegation battle Arsenal are in has been massively distorted and I am fuming.
Plenty of examples and I’m sure every fan of their club can point to the ink is my decisions that have cost them.
For example - our goal vs Burnley disallowed for Pogbas “foul”, yet the “foul” on Ronaldo in the box not given yesterday was more of a foul.
That’s a 4 point swing in the last 4 games.
