Five stars from me, because its true.
I look at Boris and despair
Mind you Paddington Bear !
Coming over here eating all our marmalade sandwiches
Plus Vitali Klitschko as mayor of Kyiv.
Could make for an interesting movie at some point.
We could certainly do worse than him next season

McZelenskyy
Maybe a united manager in the future.
Saw someone on Twitter saying that Jeremy Renner will one day be playing Zelenskyy when this is turned into a film.
Putin’s greatest achievement thus far has been to turn his ‘enemy’ into arguably the most popular man on the planet and a living legend.
Ukraine in general have stolen Russia's cool image the way they've reacted to this - politicians, civilians, soldiers, everyone. It's the country that won't be invaded again.
I love the guy in the car who was passing a tank. He stopped, wound the window down and asked why.
Broken down they said.
Can I give you a tow back to Russia then?
Laughter all round, and humanity in the middle of a war.

I don't know why you don't write your own article about what you feel strongly about Berba.

One thing that has bothered me recently. People calling people "down to earth" without actually knowing the meaning of it. I imagine most people would say that it means a decent and honest person etc. That's not what it means.

What did Berba say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just the usual ‘Ukraine are to blame too, they’ve partly been provoking Russia’ etc.
I understand his whole schtick is that he’s this edgy alt-left guy who doesn’t trust anyone or anything out there but there’s a time and a place for being Switzerland and this ain’t it. Putin is the bad guy we all presume him to be and as Admin has warned of Russian bots operating on this site I didn’t wanna take a chance and give Berbaking the platform to be the enemy within.

Ah, ok.
I think above all the contrast between Zelensky and Putin illustrates the difference in the political cultures of Ukraine and Russia right now. Ukraine has a lot of problems with corruption but - in no small part propelled by the external imperial threat of Russia - its sense of democratic self-consciousness has gathered increasing momentum. Apparently on inauguration Zelensky instructed officials not to hang portraits of him in their offices, but of their families instead. The opposite is true of Russia. Putin appears remote and speaks in an abstract, ideological language because power has become increasingly personalised and that makes him disconnected from the people he rules.

Didn’t end well. Probably went something like “mate, my daughter is annoyed with me and my pals for doing this and we have a trip to Corsica on the weekend so any chance of wrapping this up early so we can have a nice family holiday?’ ‘Nope, okay, we’re sending the Belarusians in’.
