Awful news....only last week he was talking about maybe throwing his hat in the ring for the england job.

So so sad.

I liked him in Corrie

I remember listening to TMS when he bowled his first ball in an Ashes series here and he bowled Mike Gatting with an unbelievable delivery.

The commentators were amazed and when I got home and saw it I was as well.

Amazing cricketer and a good bloke.

Taken far too soon

What a loss. Despite the fact he was an Aussie and an absolute thorn in our side, you couldn't help but love him. A real character of the game.

Not a cricket guy but apart from flintoff, warne is probably the most well known cricketer ive come across.

RIP.

Greatest spin bowler has to be Murali but Warne was the best leggie. THAT ball to Gatting was amazing, pitching outside leg to take the off stump. The look on Gatting's face said it all.
Warne was a "larger than life" character who gave so much pleasure to cricket fans, especially Aussies! Back in the Great Pavilion in the Sky far too soon.
Sad news. Grateful to have seen him play.

If your going to start bragging about which famous cricketers you've come across, then expect to be called out on it.

Depends on how legal you think Murali's action was.

Muali took more wickets but you ask majority of cricketers who they'd rather have in their side it would be Warne
