But he’s just starting out. He’s not Bruce Wayne yet, and he’s just discovered who Batman should be.
I think the trilogy will show this growth.
Also, Batmans main superpower is Money. So we know how he’s got all those wonderful toys.

He's been The Batman for 2 years by the point of the film........

Batman 1989 is terribly dated and just OK
Batman Returns is cumbersome and lacks any real plot.
Also in The Batman, during the Arkham Scene why does The Joker start offering riddles to The Riddler?? He actually says 'Riddle me this, riddle me that' and then the pair start laughing together.
Sorry but The Joker isn't The Riddler and I think Reeves may fail to truly understand source material based on that.

I kinda get what you’re saying, and I understand it every time a new iteration comes out, that this is a new version, a new story, so we have to tell the audience how we got to this Batman.
But it really doesn’t need to be that formulaic.
Btw, is it the parents death you want to see, or how he became Batman?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both. That's why the Nolan movies are so so much better. It goes through everything and sells it so well.
Who trained Pattinson's Batman?? How does he know how to fight for example?
Very good Batman movie don't get me wrong. But poor compared to TDK Trilogy

The final third of the film dragged on a bit for me. Was really enjoying it until then.
This is gonna sound weird, but the sound of the Batman's footsteps were so pleasing to listen to. Like the sound that's made when a really crisp finish hits the corner of the net.
I do prefer the Dark Knight to this one though.

It worked in Batman Begins because that was purely an origin story, but this film isn't, and would have just wasted valuable screen time.
It's set 2 years after he's already been Batman, why would we then have flashbacks or scenes talking about how we got his suit and car

8/10 for The Batman but nothing more. Nolan's trilogy is far superior film by film and even Man Of Steel felt more complete than The Batman for me.

As an overall movie and story it's more complete than The Batman. More emotive as well as Superman has to watch his earth father die, knowing that for the greater good he can't use his power to save him. That's such sacrifice and commitment to his cause... imagine having to do that for yourself and the strength it would take.

Tarantino is woeful and I stand by it. Terrible movies that are full of too much swearing, racism (DU) and gore for the shock factor. Also he seems obsessed by BDSM which just makes me think he's a creep with the way he inserts it into his movies.
Oh wow. All I’ll say is, I really like Man of Steel, until the cluster ending, but then BvS enhanced it by that beginning, where people died on the ground. But did really like it.
And your take on Tarantino is…. Amazing, is all I can say, and disagree 100%.
Aside from the fact that zach snyder knows very little about the batman and superman films, from an objective standpoint his films are bad.
Badly paced, bad plots, bad character motivations.
His action set pieces save his film from being total junk.

Oh so you are one of those people who need to see every aspect to grasp whats going on.
Very well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where does The Batman get his suit from? His car?? Not of it is explained.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know why you need every single aspect explained.
It worked in Batman Begins because that was purely an origin story, but this film isn't, and would have just wasted valuable screen time.
It's set 2 years after he's already been Batman, why would we then have flashbacks or scenes talking about how we got his suit and car
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It just doesn't work properly. How can you feel ultra invested in a character when you don't get to live his backstory with him, like in BB??
8/10 for The Batman but nothing more. Nolan's trilogy is far superior film by film and even Man Of Steel felt more complete than The Batman for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I guess you like your stories told in a literal linear fashion. You and Tarantino would have, shall we say, ‘Creative differences’.
Indiana Jones doesn’t get an origin story til the 3rd film.
(i feel I’ve said this before)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tarantino is a woeful director. Some of the worst movies i've ever seen are his. OUATIH is just dreadful. Django is vulgar and Pulp Fiction hideously overrated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
these film takes are getting worse

Man of steel is a terrible film.
I tried watching that the other day and my god that last hour is a slog, and a mess and ridiculously hard to get through.
Zack snyder is an awful director.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's an underrated genius film. Really fleshes out Superman as a character and comes full circle. Better than The Batman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I cant take any film opinion that states man of steel as a genius film when its so bad as a serious take
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As an overall movie and story it's more complete than The Batman.
