So it's 'for sale' to stop it being comfiscated or he finds a puppet to own it on his behalf 🤔
If anyone knows billionaires it's other billionaires. He will know exactly who can afford it. Seems he wants assurances they will continue to invest but not sure how that's enforceable from a business point of view.
Roman doesn't seem to be in the best position to negotiate the exact terms he wants. If he is even considering selling the club it's surely because he feels it, as one of his assets, could be compromised. I'm sure buyers will be using this as leverage when it comes to price.
How long could the club go unsold for without any consequence?
what a decent guy he doesnt want any political BS as is the problem with spurs fans right now to affect the club hes built up.

So he wants to sell it to another Russian oligarch.
Glad he's cleared that up.

Seems apparat that jealousy overrules anything in north London. I have yet to see any chelsea fan supporting Putin whilst supporting abramovich, the s c um from the north of the city getting their only kicks out of football from this shows how far behind they know they Are.
Their clubs owners dont measure up so they bite at succes elsewhere petty but understandable it must Hurt with their dirty little faces pressede against the Windows of the West London giants. Spurs had their time in the 60s Arsenal had theirs in the00s. So bit like Bolton or preston in those respects.
Their respons to pro roman posts is laughable keep giving the 1stars it just shows the Hurt even more.... Loving it. Get in there Chels KTBFFH

LOL Abramovich trying to do a runner, has seriously upset some.
Mike Ashley is the people's choice
I have the perfect solution for Chelsea and Spurs. Think about it…
One has a sht stadium, one has the best.
One has a sht team, one has a decent team.
One has a sht recent history, the other very good.
One has a sht past history, the other decent.
One has a sht football dept, the other very decent.
It is ripe for an amalgamation! Take the best bits of both. Play in green.
Of course you’d need to find a new fan base cos they’re both sht.
Roman issued several statements recently.
Most Chelsea fans see his actions as sincere and even altruistic in relationship to the future of the club he loved so much and was loved in return as #nr1 fan.
Its typical for particular rival fans to impute some nefarious motivations . That's ok and their right, even so they should stick to their own boards to offer their opinions.
Coming to the Chelsea board to relate these opinions shows up their motivations to troll us.
We ( in the main) do not close the comments of rival fans as is seen on other boards.
The important sentiments are from our own Chelsea faithful, what we think and how we choose to defend the best owner any sporting club could ever have and most likely will in the future. The almost unanimous reaction of love for RA does not surprise me in the least.
The end game of RA's stewardship of Chelsea is a momentous and sad time for us. Should the likes of some of the above posters, also from previous threads choose to relish in our unhappiness at this time, so be it..... water off a duck's back as they say.
You all should be gasping in admiration that a club owner like Roman Abramovich should receive so much , even unanimous appreciation, from the Chelsea fans... and is for a genuine reason. He is , and is seen by the fans as the best of us.
I believe I am among the majority of Chelsea fans who would like to see , at the appropriate time, a proper statue of Roman at Stamford Bridge for all to witness the benchmark set for what a true and passionate club owner should be.

The world is turning it's back on all things Russian, and you want a statue put up. Jeez, the blindness related to supporting a football team. Blimey, why don't you go all in and have the statue of him with his arm around Putin.
Or maybe, just watch the news for 5 minutes and have a think about how long it will be before such a statue will be there before someone tears it down.
Get rid of City’s owners and Newcastles new owners and we could have a decent league again where trophies are won on hard work and merit rather than the whim of one man/fund.
If Spurs could get rid of Lewis and Levy in the bargain then I would be delighted, as I am sure a large amount of United and Gooners would be to get rid of the Glazers and Kroenke.
Only problem, West Ham might not go the full 50 years without a trophy.

This is all very well and good from a formally stance, particularly if you're a Chelsea fan. You go too far the other way though and start claiming any negative posts about RA are point scoring completely ignoring that his shady past has every right to be questioned at this time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does it have to be questioned at this particular time though? Why now, why not when tanks rolled into Georgia or the Crimea was annexed or when Chechnya was blown to bits.
Or why not in a couple of years when the FA/UEFA could have a chance (don’t laugh) to insist on clubs only being able to spend net transfer fees/TV money and match day revenue - or at the very least try to remove all political ties from football, or impose salary and transfer caps.
Why now?
