They'll 100% be sold. RA just won't see a penny of it initially. Nothing will change for Chelsea mid-long term (than it would have done pre sanctions).
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You keep downplaying the impact this will have on Chelsea. They will no longer be one of the dominant forces.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why would I downplay it? I'm looking at it objectively. There are already plenty of reports from reputable journalists that the government will allow Chelsea to be sold. Realistically the only difference between now and yesterday, is the very short term consequences. The club will be sold to a billionaire/investment group, as it was always going to be. Then it will depend on the philosophy of the new owners. They're not going anywhere.

Didn’t say they were going away, but if you think Chelsea will be the big players they were under Roman, i think you will find that won’t happen. We have a billionaire owner, what good has that done us? Nobody taking over will emulate what Abramovich has done. Chelsea will drop slowly and it’s about time.

And we have a billionaire group and pay one of the highest wages around and have attracted good talent. The Chelsea squad won't suddenly be sold. They have a strong squad, the best youth system around and have recent history and a strong location. Nobody knows but I literally see no reason they won't still compete. You also need to look at how they have been run the last 3 or 4 years. Making profit, a good net spend etc and they're the current European champions.

You have a point. Chelsea will be very lucky to find another owner willing to spunk 1.5b up the wall.

Saw a clip of Chelsea fans crying about how they were being punished instead of the owner, but they were perfectly happy to celebrate the owner's riches when it was being pumped into the club without a care in the world about the geopolitical implications. So no sympathy from me.

Supplying the steel for the Russian tanks.

The papers have savaged him this morning. Blood on his hands.

Because they love all the laundered Russian money.

Most have them have accepted donations themselves,
