I said at the time Bielsa was sacked it should have been Orta who went.
Whatever the outcome of this season, if it is at all possible, Leeds should go on bended knee and beg Allioski to return to us and pay him his desired wage and compensation to the Saudi club he's at if necessary.
His presence alone will create a better vibe and team morale and definitely improve Harrison on that left wing which apart from 2 games v Burnley and West Ham he has been so poor and looks really lost without Allioski:s link up play.
In the meantime I think Dallas should play LB andJames at Left wing and Harrison should be dropped.
Lack of or poor recruitment have killed us. Rodrigo, James are the 2 most expensive and worst examples but there are plenty of others.
Failing to do anything in January when it was plain to see that we were dropping like a stone. Throwing up the smoke screen of trying to sign a midfielder who was never going to leave his club and then saying we tried but could not get the deal over the line....
Too many errors and bad decisions including the ones mentioned by others on this thread. We fully deserve to be relegated after the way the club has been run. There is usually a team every season that goes on a catastrophic run from January onwards and ends up going down. Looks like it is us this time
I thought at the time Jonty that Allioski going was no big deal and we could easily improve in that position with a better left back but I have changed my mind and realise now that Allioski who had his limitations did infact create the backbeat for the team like Ringo Star in The Beatles.
Macca I agree, thought we needed to move on, but all 3 going at same time with nothing remotely to replace them was wrong.
I thought during man u game, Alioski would be in his element here.

Very true about Alioski. He was a bright spark and a real character even if not the most gifted player.
I thought a specialist LB who was on Barcelona's books had to a big step up. Boy how much more wrong could I have been.
We have never replaced Roofe or Pablo either for that matter.
Firpo is getting a lot of stick from some but he's been far from our worst player, Harrison, he of the world class first touch, was about as bad as I have ever seen him last night, ditto James, Rodrigo and Rapha
The Leicester goal at the weekend you can see Dallas way out of position, Firpo on the other flank had a far better game.
I think Firpo gets flack because he is no Alioski and because he wasn't part of the team that brought us up.

Fair views, but I think Firpo also gets stick (does from me anyway) because he’s an ex-Barcelona left-back and I’d have expected him to do much better and be amongst our better players, if not the best.

why did barca let him go?
I dont think we should have paid and kept Alioski.

I think you are missing the point with Alioski Jonty. Unlike any other player he epitomised the Bielsa generation at the club. Worth more to the club than just his playing ability.
I sometimes look at the web site of his new club and smile. I miss Whiskey Mix.
Yep great post agree with all of that
Never ever once wanted rid of Bielsa
He was more than just a manager. Those outside the club just don't get it
That was a disaster last night. Hate being negative
but all I see now is relegation. I hope I'm as wrong as
I've ever been on that. We could still do it. I guess.
