Of Barnsley, Derby and Reading they all play half their games against the top ten, but Derby have played a game more.
I think Barnsley have the biggest advantage by playing Bristol City, Peterborough and Reading. That and they have six home games left and have by far the best home form. Plus, Derby don’t play anyone in the bottom six and that is where 3 of their 4 wins have come from in 2022.
My pick is Barnsley to escape the drop, then Derby beating Reading on GD and Peterborough bottom.
