You are not as unbiased as you think. 28 points from 33 is very optimistic.
There have been plenty of much better Spurs teams that have not had a run of results that good.
Definitely on the WUM this morning Sandy. 4th is gone.
Why can't your favourite player Davinson Sanchez solve the CB deficiency?
I hope Spurs beat Arsenal and draw against West Ham. I can see Brighton bouncing back against Spurs and expressions losing it.😂
For Arsenal screw up top 4, they will need a Leicester type bottle job of last 2 seasons.
I suppose Spurs bottled top 4 great position with games in hand recently. Just need Arsenal to follow starting with today. Comeon Leicester City.
There has been no evidence in both our performances or results to suggest we can win 9 of our next 11 games. Best we can hope for is Europa.

I think there may be a case of bringing him back, one of Dier or Romero can drop to the bench. He is definitely the quickest of the three and better than both Romero and Dier in the air, even if he is prone to the odd mistake.
I think we can improve our form but winning 9 from 11 is really optimistic and you never know what injuries we could pick up. Unlikely that we'll have a strong 11 all the way until the end of the season. There will be absentees along the way.
Also you're predicting that Arsenal will have an end of season capitulation by only winning 3 of their last 13 games? Come on mate!

There is plenty of evidence, Spurs have only lost to Burnley of the bottom eight or nine this season. And most of those games are against those sort of teams. I would expect an extra effort against both Arsenal and West Ham at home, so that is why I am going for Spurs wins. Liverpool game as usual is a write off. But of the others, I would be surprised if Spurs don`t win them all. Brighton are in dreadful form, having lost their last five games, so they should be there for the taking twice. Burnley, Norwich, Watford are just rubbish teams. Spurs seem to beat Leicester regularly, other than the odd blip, and they should be beat Newcastle and Brentford.

Probably because they have not had a set of fixtures so favourable to string together a decent run. The one thing about Spurs is they are pretty predictable, other than the odd blip. Always lose to the better sides away, beat some of them at home, and usually beat the bad sides home and away, other than than odd feck up.

Possibly Don, but you can say that set of fixures is very favourable to Spurs. What games, other than Liverpool would you expect Spurs to lose?
Yes, we'll make up 15 points in 11 games on a team that is better than us
The aim for this season is now to get Europa. We're competing with Wolves and West Ham not United and Arsenal.

There fixtures are very, very difficult, and Arsenal are a pretty average outfit. Their recent run of form has basically come against the bottom half a dozen clubs. The same clubs I would expect Spurs to trouser lots of points off. With four away London Derbies, Man United and Liverpool at home, and Newcastle and Villa away, I can see them slipping up today for starters.
They are not a great side, and I think opposition supporters are getting a tad carried away with them. Yes, they have skipped a few points clear, mainly because of their very favourable fixtures they had. But I would expect them to rapidly come back to the pack over the next few weeks, when their more difficult fixtures start to kick in.
I also don`t think United are that great. Ronaldo basically touched the ball about four times yesterday and scored a hat-trick, the rest of their team were very average, he won`t have such a generous defence as Spurs every week to play against.

You have gone for the best case scenario for Spurs while going for the worst case scenario for Arsenal. It's unrealistic. There is nothing to suggest Arsenal suddenly can't buy a win when they have 8 wins in their last 10 and they've played Wolves twice and West Ham in that run.
Sorry Sandy, but this is over optomistic horse s*it.
Spurs won't win all these games.
Spurs will continue to throw games away through pathetic defending.
Spurs will continue to throw games away through absolutely awful ( actually breath taking ) weak mentality.
Spurs will continue to throw games away through "so called" star players disappearing in any game that looks even remotely like a "6 pointer"
These scripts have been in place for years now, and most of us can predict each one happening before the game kicks off.
Oh and to add to our continued frustration as Spurs fans, we have now provided the media with a reason to give the whole footballing world a barrage of "Ronaldo" articles for the next few days / weeks. Like the world doesn't have enough rubbish to read about and hear about these days.
Honestly, Spurs just continually make it easy for their rivals. If we were in an egg and spoon race with Arsenal, Utd, West Ham and probably Wolves, we would somehow find a way to finish last, almost certainly dropping the egg along the way.
Here's another outcome that could happen:
Arsenal
Leicester (h) W
Liverpool (h) L
Aston Villa (a) D
Palace (a) W
Brighton (h) W
Southampton (a) D
Man United (h) W
West Ham (a) D
Leeds (h) W

Everton (h) W
Chelsea (h) D
Spurs (a) D

Aston Villa (a) D

…
He had 54 touches. But you were pretty close with 4.
I'm with you on this one, Sandy. Not that I think Spurs will get 4th, but that it definitely shouldn't be given up upon with 10 games left to play.
Arsenal are clear favourites from here, and I'd sooner have +5 points on the board than two games in hand, like United, but the only consistency from those two sides in recent years has been consistent mediocrity.
Keep plugging away one game at a time and see how things stand going into the final 3 or 4 games.
Ronaldo had 2 shots saved in the 2nd half by Lloris before he finally scored again.
Of course we’re still in the mix for top four, anyone writing our chances off already is silly.
However, Arsenal should clearly be seen as favourites to get 4th based on their current position and their recent consistency. I’d say it’s then pretty much a coin toss between Spurs and Utd over who is next favourite. Then of course West Ham are still involved but probably outsiders at this point.
But no fans of any of the above teams should already be writing off their own chances.
Arsenal have been incredibly lucky the way they got there wins recently.
