Lance Armstrong cheated to win his titles and he was rightfully stripped of them. What Chelsea have done is far, far worse so they have to be stripped too.

That banner is years old and stadium banners are there permanently. We have one Cyprus Blues and we only take it down close season to clean. Not sure if the Roman banner was brought out for the weekend can’t say I’ve looked out for it. Putin does not own the club thank God. Saudi Gov do own Newcastle. Our Gov still haven’t proved RA involvement but all the same I agree with sanctioning him in case he has. What I don’t agree with is putting the club close to administration. How would that hurt Putin or RA who effectively is no longer the owner since the recent actions by Gov and PL.

Exactly. Sadly some people are using this situation to try to bring down a club they hate. Chelsea FC itself has nothing to do with this war and Abramovich himself is getting fully punished.

I mean was the Roman banner brought out on the weekend or has it been there all the time. In light of Ukraine I agree with HB it should not be there now.

Chelsea haven't done anything wrong.

One owner sold to another individual who was legally permitted to buy the club. The players all went out onto the pitch and won the trophies on that pitch. They shouldn't and won't have them revoked.

Abramovich isn't Chelsea. Chelsea as a club haven't done anything wrong. The fans haven't done anything wrong. Well, except of the mindless few who continue to chant his name but every club have their morons.

I have no love for Chelsea but how did they cheat?

They spent money their owner ploughed into the club ….that’s not cheating

They may have pushed the rules of FFP but no more so than Man City ….should city be stripped of all their titles?

Armstrong passed all drugs tests until he was exposed. Just like Chelsea have been with Roman. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike Chelsea or the fans, but knowing now that war money has paid for so many trophies over the last 19 years has tainted it all for me. The honours should be struck off, simple as that.

Chelsea will live to fight another day. They'll ultimately get sold to another billionaire with ethical money and bounce back. It'll be great to see, again I don't dislike Chelsea as a club, and to know it will be clean money is the real benefactor for them and the EPL.
