Did read one article regarding Chelsea today that reckoned a fire sale of their best players is inevitable this summer.
As for Wolves my main positive thought is that we got to 8th despite Neto, Jonny and Boly not playing a single game. The squad is surely stronger with those three than without them so why shouldn’t we look at a place or two higher than 8th
Spurs 1-0 up at halftime having had 56% possession and Brighton not having a shot on target. So they will likely go above us but we will still definitely be 6th on Friday night if we beat Leeds

There's been a fair bit of catastrophising where Chelsea is concerned. Cant really see them not completing the season. The real pressure will come when the new owners have to try to match what Abramovich has done in terms of financing. Bound to drop back a few steps from where they are now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea will be fine. Saw somewhere that they haven't spwnt crazy for a long time now anyway and they will be a very attractive proposition to many.
Toti would never have got a game for us had he not been out on loan. Bolla is one that will probably stay with us next season and hopefully we loan out Hoever instead.
And i hope you are wrong about the plan being to bring on our own youngsters as that will mean regression. One or two is fine but it isn't a pathway to the top.
Think West Ham are the only ones we have a chance of catching personally and that is pretty slim. Very likely all seven ahead of us hit 60 points or more. For us that means winning at least four of our final nine, preferably five and that is a big ask.
I have just bet my neighbour 2 pints we will overtake West Ham
Not going again on Friday so goals galore
Sa
Boly, Coady, Kilman
Jonny, Ait-Nouri
Moutinho, Neves
Podence, Jimenez, Neto
Is the starting eleven I would love to see and would, I'm certain, bring us 3 points.
morning gents

He won't drop Saiss, and neither would I. Kilman or Boly, not sure
england squad announced today, will Max make it?
Harry McGuire - in; Max Kilman - not in.
NEED I SAY MORE?
I for one am glad Kilman isn't in
Maguire - think I demoted him to the Scotland squad - come to think of it . . .

Me too. Would have been nice for the lad. What must he think when Maguire is preferred?
Sa for me is the best GK in the PL.
Sounds like Neto had quite the set back. Not available for Leeds and only a maybe for Villa in a few weeks. A months absence so soon after his comeback is a bit of a worry.

At least it's not a re-occurence of his knee injury, An impact foot injury I believe.
So with Neto and Hwang both out Bruno will probably go 2 up top and 3 in midfield. Failing that, if he goes with 3 forwards I assume the hapless Trincao will start even though it's obvious to everyone but Bruno that Chiquinho is a far better player.

That is good to hear, I was getting worried
Chiquinho isn't a better player than Trincao.
Yeah Chiquinho looks like a livewire but he is very raw. Better as an impact player right now I think.
Can't say I am high on Trincao though, he is better than what we are seeing but have to hope we don't sign him for the reported fee.
Hwang ain't much either, to me. Shame we have already pulled the trigger on that one.
Trincao hasn't settled and I wouldn't sign him. It's a shame as he is a good player, just one of those that never fully adjusts to a new league and team.
I think he will go off somewhere and be playing Champions League football and in 3-5 years time there is a chance we might be thinking back about what might have been.
If we hadn't signed Chiquinho, I can't imagine many if us would have heard of him in 3-5 years time. Very raw. May come good, but is also just as likely to be elsewhere in 18 months time or on loan next season.
