Full time:
Blackburn Rovers 3-1 Derby County
I think we probably have to accept our fate now ... I'm incredibly proud of this team and their spirit but we've run out of steam.
I would have usually tried to offer solace with a view from the croft. But I can't.
Talisker is the answer. đĽ

Death by 1000 cuts.
Feck the EFL.
It's not 'our fate' in the leagues that I really worry about, League 1 would be a blast.
It's the not knowing what business condition our club will be in or whether it will still be our club.
Bleak.....very bleak....

Ah well.
We can all go around to vidals mansion for Shrewsbury away next season.
Night all. Never give up.
It’s taking a whole lot of effort to get rid of us.
Well I was concerned we’d stay up and be liquidated. Now I am concerned we’ll be liquidated.

We play to the end.
Ah well, we made 10k Bburn fans very happy.
I think that Reading point today could be a killer blow too as the season dwindles down.
Well done boys, incredibly proud of this squad and the management. Rooney has proven the majority of fans wrong after wanting him out last season. Sensational support this season, long may it continue regardless of where we are. ♥ď¸

They had to dismantle a sound team to reach this.

They are d!cks aren't they?
I know that realistically we are in a spot of bother. But we aren't dead yet. Hang in until it's mathematically impossible. Then we can mourn and moan. Till then.............UTR đ
I enjoyed our 2 seasons in the 3rd tier under Arthur. Great team spirit then too.
Talk about a game of two halves! Blackburn were shambolic first half and would obviously change at half time. In spite of the pressure then exerted we kept up with the playing out from the back when the tactic should have been to get the ball forward quickly. We played into their hands so game management was non-existent. Two very poor goals conceded and now it looks as though CKR could be out for ages.
I agree with all the comments, however, about the team and how well they have done in spite of everything so it hurts to have to be critical. But this was such an important game and it was there for the taking.
Before the game we were 5 points behind Reading.
We're now 6 points behind.
So, exactly the same situation - 2 wins behind
WGT!!!
