I have just seen this on Twitter, too good not to share
On Saturday, Nottingham Forest exceeded last seasons total Championship points of 52 and reached 55.
There are 11 games to go and Forest took 1 point out of their first 7 games.
Simply superb
Massive game, a win will put us in the playoffs and set us up nicely for the final 9 games, as by the weekend we’ll have 2 games in hand on those above and around us - obviously points on the board are all important, but our destiny will be in our own hands
QPR will have threat in attack - Willock and Austin are both very decent at this level - hopefully if we can hit them at high tempo, our attack just might be too much for them
Win ? Wot is dis win you talk of ? Your playing Q.P.R. not Reading. We're a different kettle of hoops entirely.
We have a decent record at home to QPR, and hopefully that will continue, but any team that can turn it round at Luton can’t be taken lightly, not that SC would let that happen. I hope the loss of two key players, Cook in particular doesn’t de-rail us, we managed without Lowe earlier in the season, but Colback filling in has done ok, he must however stop picking up stupid bookings as he can’t be far off a suspension. I wonder how long before Samba gets his place back, but Hovarth has done very little wrong. As stated earlier in the thread a draw wouldn’t be disastrous, but a win would put us in a great place, especially when we get a rejuvenated Grabban back. Garibaldi to triumph 3-1, with Johnson finding some of the form he’s lost recently.
Yates will also be buoyed having signed a new contract, Davis will want to continue where he left off on Saturday with Surridge desperate for game time. SC has a difficult job keeping everyone happy but has done great so far.
I fink this might be a good time to play the Trees cos the defence is weakened through injuries and they ave the Scousers cup game distraction at the weekend.
Absolutely perfect set of results tonight
Well done Blackburn, Reading and Barnsley
The trap door is creaking
Can't understand why Rovers winning was a good result. They may do you out of a play off place.
Agree with RR, Tuesdays results could hardly have gone worse, neither team can really afford to drop points. Thought the sheep were going to do us a favour but they seem to have run out of steam Bournemouth are flattering to deceive, played 3 of the basement teams and were fortunate to get 5 points, yes they stayed unbeaten but that really should have been a minimum of 7 points. Looking forward to the QPR game, but like ‘Udders in the cup it will be tense. I’ll still stick with the trickies though to edge this one.
Blackburn beating Derby doesn’t affect our fate whatsoever
It’s a great result which helps put another nail in Derbys coffin
Our destiny is in our own hands - is we get the results we need, then it’s irrelevant what other teams around us do
Blackburn winning tonight IMO is a great result…as is Barnsley and Reading picking up points
We have 3 games over Blackburn as it stands and they are only 6 points ahead of us
Is we win our games in hand, then our posits ion is 4th irrespective of what other results occur
As I say, our fate is in our own hands
Looks like Derby are all but buried...I was thinking they should just let it go....so I created this....
The snow glows white on the stadium tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like they have no queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep them up, heaven knows they tried
Don't let the auditors in, don't let them see
Be the good accountant you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know
You have to go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away as they lock the door
They don't care what we're going to say
Let the storm rage on
The football never bothered them anyway
It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled them don't get to me at all
It's time to see what else they can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for them
They are free
Let it go, let it go
Wound up and no longer on Sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see Keogh cry
Here they stand with no place to stay
Let the storm rage on
Their tears fly through the air into the ground
Souls are spiralling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
They are never coming back, the past is in the past
Let it go, let it go
Never to rise and see the dawn
Let it go, let it go
Your awful club is gone
Here we stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The football never bothered them anyway

Just one line missing at the end…
GOOD RIDDANCE
Q.P.R. team news : It looks like Marshall (ex Darby) will be between the sticks again. The Breadman does ave a selection eadache though cos nearly all the squad apart from Dykes are fit and available.

You’ve got too much time on your hands.
It’s very good though.
Should be a good game tonight. QPR always try to play; goes right back to the days of Rodney Marsh. And we know Warbs likes his team to play.
Cooper has said regarding Cook being injured it’s ‘next man up’ - that means Figs I guess. Fine by me. Obviously it weakens our defence slightly but we are always capable of scoring.
I was impressed with Cafu on Saturday, think he might have put himself ahead of Zinck for a midfield spot.
I think I’ll go for Forest to win by two tonight.

Zinc is a funny one for me, love his energy and work rate, he definitely got ability and can be creative. But in the last third just makes some poor choices and the net result is as a team we not as clinical as we should be!
In short he gets me out of my seat with anticipation but inevitably I sit back down a little disappointed!
I think you are right with starting Cafu, but it’s a head over heart decision
Could also be an interesiting bench tonight, there were some good performances in the 23s on Monday apparently. Panzo, Harbottle, Konate.

I really don't have a problem with Figs in a back three. He played really well in the back three before Cook came, far better than in a back four. I don't know why, but he seems to prefer a back three.
With Zinckernagel, he's great away from home, at the WFCG he seems to go missing for large parts of games. Another conundrum for SC.
