I know right. That club should be relegated to the conference
Just kick them out of the competition. Such a tainted club.
If they return all the trophies for the last 19 years then yes Boro can play behind closed doors.
Not sure why we would feel that the match should be played behind closed doors
It is not the players that should be punished. They are just innocent professionals so shouldn't be kicked out of the competition. They are rightly punishing the fans though who have openly supported the corruption for going on 20 years. It is the fans that should suffer, not the players.
Chelsea have made a really good point here. I think they are in a strong position to argue this.
The shame of that arrogant club. Boro would lose a fortune in gate receipts if they get their way.
Kind of a side note. Can somebody explain to me why Roman needed to money launder his cash when nothing he did to gain it was illegal?
Actual specifics would be great.

LOL Innocent professionals who would be nowhere near Chelsea if not for being paid a fortune in blood money.
Neo
Are they seriously asking for the game to be played behind closed doors?
Funny watching the club using the words ‘sporting integrity’ given what’s coming out about their former owner of late

For it to need to be money laundered it would insinuate it was acquired illegally which it wasn't. Please do explain to me what I'm missing.

You can't exonerate the players but not the fans.
Everybody who has played for the club has helped a corrupt owner succeed. If anything the players are more to blame as they have a choice as to who they sign for whereas many fans were already Chelsea supporters when the dirty money arrived and are hardly likely to stop following the club.

It’s all tainted and all integrity from our game is gone
Wonder if they’ll take a similar position at their home ground? Play behind closed doors to preserve integrity, as tickets can’t be sold to away fans.
Could they not give the tickets away free? Or set up something where by a charity sells the tickets?

He got it on a cut price deal when Russia decided to de-nationalise many of their industries.
This is how many of the oligarchs earnt their wealth and was under Boris Yeltsin, nothing to do with Putin.
So now explain how it was gained ILLEGALLY.
I love how everyone has suddenly become ROmans accountant since the invasion 😂
