This hole bottlejob thing is being completely overstated. After winning 11 games in a row, they’ve drawn 2 games and lost 1 from 7. Do they have to win all 18 games to avoid being bottlejobs? Nobody would be saying anything if Liverpool hadn’t gone on a ridiculous run in which they’ve played 2 more PL games than City, too.

It's interesting as when we "lost it" city had games in hand of us so in reality were only 3 points behind at any point (might have been 6 actually once). We've made up a greater real deficit than they did that time.

Ultimately neither are bottle jobs as it is just 2 top quality teams playing at levels never before seen in the premier League. Probably the best 2 teams the league has ever seen so no shame losing to either.
