Big gamble by Klopp this hope the boys repay the faith and it doesnt backfire.

This is James Milner's first start since 2 March. At the age of 36 years and 99 days, Milner is the oldest Englishman to start a Champions League match since David Beckham (37y 335d) did so for Paris St-Germain against Barcelona in the first leg of their quarter-final meeting in 2012-13.

We’ve just had a pretty gruelling game versus City, we play them again at the weekend, then it’s United and Everton. As poor as those sides are they could still be high intensity games.

This is probably the best game to give key players a rest. It’s not a gamble imo, it’s something that had to happen.

Agree again, it’s a calculated risk that should pan out fine if the players play to their normal standard.

It didn't have to happen at all, you can do small changes each game, not a a UKIP midfield.

To put it in perspective, that starting lineup is, in my opinion, more than capable of a top 4 league finish

Big effort needed now.

Scratch back line is the biggest concern. All benficas best options are upfront

I don't
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brexit midfield meme has been around a while, for when Henderson and Milner start together.

Look it should be enough to get the job done, but I don't like should, especially given what happened 24 hours ago.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
A game that took place in another country on a different day has no bearing whatsoever on this game. Unless you’re a superstitious pagan of course….
