Always thought he was a carp pundit, like some of the rest of the gang at Sky. This just shows an unexpected and unpleasant side of the pandemic. It has given the utter morons - and they are many - a point of agreement and focus. Then they buy into the full boxed set of ballhox: covid is a scam, net zero is a scam, Hunter Biden started the war in Ukraine, Putin is a lovely chap who wouldn't harm a fly. The excuses for Russia are truly stomach turning though. If he had any decency he would delete his account.

Retweeting the quote above in isolation shouldn't be a problem but people do get others trying to shut them down and saying they're a conspiracy theorist if they say that, which ironically radicalises them even more into 'everyone's against me/it's all a conspiracy' territory.

Around a month or two after lockdown started in 2020, I remember someone I went to uni with post a video by a doctor who claimed Covid was fake, and she said some drivel about how you should think for yourself and basically justified it by saying "well he's a doctor".
So I typed his name in Google, and sure enough he had his medical license revoked a good 4/5 years ago due to malpractice and dodgy treatments
