Everton are on of only what,4/5 teams never relegated from the prem?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’ve never been relegated from the top flight have they?
First time for everything.
Newcastle being only a point ahead of us. If we're in it, so are they. This weekend though ......
Watford v LEEDS
Norwich v Burnley
Pick the hamstrings out of those games.

Surely!
chelsea getting hammered again.
So now we need Man U to beat Everton on Saturday.
Burnley have Norwich next so they will be fancying their chances now to stay up.
Everton do have a hard run in so they look like getting no more than about 32 points, but at the end of the day we just need to worry about own result this Saturday... win that and I think we're probably safe.
everton haven't been relegated since 1951 and only been relegated twice.
Sean Dyche is a miracle worker at Burnley.
Can see Lampard telling the press that if he had Chelsea loanees he'd be walking the league...
Andy Hinchliffe's eyes looking a bit red.
Would not surprise me if Burnley go above us and we both stay up.
Everton & Lampard are in denial.
And that's their biggest problem.
I hope Burnley stay up!..
Don't know why but in the 70's when I was a lot younger and a Elland Road regular they were one off my favourite games!..
And my cousins son holds the all time record for games played for them!..

This refers to the Premier era (you know when football started). The other side not to be relegated from PL are Arsenal, Utd, L’pool, Chelsea and us (assuming Everton go down). Villa were part of the 7 sides (all over the above) who were for 15 odd years had not been down
Hope you lads make it snd day up. In your own hands now
looking at all the remaining fixtures Burnley seem to have the kindest. Everton Watford and Norwich now for me after tonight look to be the 3 to go down this season but don't want to count my chickens we're safe just yet.
3 points for us Saturday by hook or by crook and Everton not winning and preferably losing will feel really good.
Also I keep reading that Everton have broken FFP rules and are in serious danger of a points deduction so maybe that will be another twist.. who knows!
This is worth a watch for fans of “stop crying frank lampard” ……

In many ways I want Burnley to go down. Horrible team, horrible place. I don't mind Everton as a club. Just hate Lampard so that trump's all at the moment.
It's just a lose-lose situation for you, Outwood, isn't it? Looking at the fixtures for these clubs, and ourselves, I am beginning to think of 36 points as safe. That makes the Watford game huge for us.
He’s going to phone Rooney for advice, “Wayne, mate, where you get you’re weave from, I’m gonna need one soon?”
Burnley's win last night works well for us but I'm not counting any chickens just yet - we're not out of the woods by a long chalk. Even if we stay up this season, there is so much rebuilding to do that our PL status next season will remain in doubt.
Not sure about the result. A Burnley defeat would have kept the gap between Leeds and the bottom 3 bigger, but Burnley have an easier run in than Everton.
Latest betting on the Betfair exchange has Norwich 1/100 to go down. Watford 1/5. Everton 11/10, Burnley 5/4 and us 9/2.
Burnley face Norwich so its vital that we don't lose to Watford. We also face Man C when they face each other so yeah, we're not out of it yet. Think we have the support of the crowd and enough match winners to get us over the line. We were easily the worst side in the league a month or so ago, Marsch has done well.
I think Burnley win is the worst possible outcome, draw would have been best outcome and Everton win better than what happened.
Explain why you think Burnley win was a good outcome Jaz.
You could argue for both reasons. A draw would have been ideal but if Everton won it might have given them some boost. Burnley are such a weird team they could lose to Norwich
