Yeah I think even if Juventus decide they want to keep him we have an agreement in place to sign him for a set fee.

All in all Paratici has done a very good job after a dodgy start.

It's interesting because so many of us are keen for Levy/ Enic to push the boat out and spend big money but that never seems to end well and our best signings are the low to mid priced players we sign.

My issue with ENIC has never been about the amount of money they spend on players, but rather the fact that too often they spend at the wrong time, on wrong areas of the squad, poor scouting and the constant bargaining over minsicule sums of money which either leave the squad short or players coming in late with not enough time to integrate.

Yeah that's fair comment. It's true that we often leave it late in the window to sign players. We haggle to the point that we sometimes end up missing out on great players. e.g. Grealish.

agree with this. would be nice this summer to get some early deals done. key ones. Not scratching around in August to add to the squad.
