I’m surprised we got Romero and didn’t have strong competition for him, especially since he was Serie A defender of the year.

Kulu is showing what he’s capable of which got his move to Juventus in the first place but didn’t his chance at Juventus due to management.

Bentacur, still shocked Juventus let him go, but the same thing as Kulu, management saw him dropped and sold.

Can’t wait for this summer window, hopefully see all the useless ones go and some more top signings come in.

Good write up. Jeki is my favourite because he has end product and his hold up play is brilliant. His bit of skill he did today in our half near the corner was class, then he goes forward to set up Son up for his trick.

Hopefully there is more quality surplus to requirement in Serie A and Paratici/Conte have the inside track.

I was worried about Kulu’s lack of pace when he first arrived - very happy to be wrong.

Bentancur - I knew what we were getting, very surprised Juve let him go.

Romero - we got lucky that Barca didn’t have the funds to compete as he was Messi’s choice.

3 more this summer as good as them and hopefully we can win a domestic pot

In terms of signings while it’s been a while nice we signed a number of decent players in quick succession, would like to say a word on Hojberg who was superb again yesterday. He came in for a bit of stick earlier in the season, but he has easily the best of the summer transfers during Mourinho, and is looking excellent once again under Conte and all for just £15million.
