Yep, we certainly aren’t safe yet. Burnley seem to just have the knack of escaping every season. I really hope the lads are going to put up a fight, starting with tomorrow night. When we knew Burnley would have played 3 games whilst we were on vacation, I really didn’t see them getting 7 points, but it looks like that is what they have managed (they are currently beating Wolves). Certainly going to be a nervy time for us from now until the end of the season.
Certainly felt very uncomfortable when we were hearing the we're safe now and Burnley are done type comments over last few weeks just asking for that to be disproved which it has been. Some sides survival instinct kicks in when it comes to the crunch despite season form up that point and Burnley are absolutely one of those
We just need to focus on what we can control and I am sure Marsch and the players are doing just that and we might just do it.
I really, really hope I'm wrong, but I can see us going down on goal difference.
It's going to be really nervy on Monday night. Good job we always do well in London
Again comes down to a lack of ambition in the summer and especially January.
I bet they are thinking pretty much the same thing at Everton, and more so.
I think we'll finish on 36-38 points. I see nothing from the City, Chelsea and Arsenal games, with 3-5 from Palace (A), Brighton (H) and Brentford (A). Add in the goal difference and I think we're in serious trouble.
We are still a big price to go down if people think we are going down lump on then trade out when we shorten up,
Think 4 more pts will be enough, 1 of those will come from the games we don't think we can win,
jeeeeeeez what is the matter with you guys, we will be fine
Well Burnley have certainly surprised me and it looks like Dyche probably stifled the players who are now playing with more freedom and look like getting out of trouble.
I thought Watford was massive but now Palace is humongous.
Everton and ourselves under immense pressure now so we will see by Monday night 10pm ish where we stand.
My bad predictions asside over Burnley I still think 37 points will be enough to survive.... I hope!
Burnley’s survival ‘knack’ in this instance is largely a favourable fixture list and a bit of luck.
It always felt like this could go to the wire. We might be relying on Everton’s dreadful away form to keep us up… fingers firmly crossed that I haven’t just jinxed that.

Yep, the same people who were saying "we will not go down", "Burnley will not win another game this season we are safe", "Burnley have only won 4 games all season they will not suddenly start winning all their games" etc should take a deep breath.
We must take something from tomorrows game as the next 3 look very tricky. I think the Defibrillator might be needed tomorrow night!
Let's see how Everton do today before hitting the panic button?
But I'm with you on the defibrillator...

your fault
Let me see if I can jinx it the other way. Liverpool looking not their fluent self and Everton comfortable at the moment. A nervy atmosphere.
Oh dear we were 10 to 1 last week on Betfair. Now 4 to 1.
liverpool 2 nil win so at least we are keeping our advantage over Everton. Hopefully increasing it tomorrow night. Every cloud...
Good result for us but we got to come out all guns blazing tomorrow.

Kammy's gone all Yorkshire.
Just can’t believe Burnley beat Wolves, that the problem with teams who have nothing to play for, they just fold.
Palace now a must win
Unfortunately both Burnley and Everton play Watford. Probably an easy 3 points.

You would think so but Hodgson is a proud man and will want his team to at least perform their hardest to give the home fans a victory... that's the theory anyway!
Neither Palace, Villa or ourselves are safe yet. If we beat them tonight Palace have a tough run in. I can only see Watford as a win for them.
So tonight is massive for both teams. A win takes the pressure off for sure.
Right now Burnley look like they might continue their run. If that happens then Villa could to lose to them twice and get dragged into the battle too. They also have Liverpool and City to play.
