Swansea will be a tough one, recent results show they are in a decent place. They did however throw away a lead against Reading to relegate Derby so at shows they can read a script plus where will their heads be now mid-table is confirmed?

Glad you highlight the defence, 5 clean sheets in last 6 games is sensational!

Injuries and fatigue are a factor but will be for Bournemouth as well, so no complaints there. Plus right now the team must be absolutely buzzing and can’t wait to go again at the WFCG on Saturday 😊😊😊

Correct Swansea will be a very tough test, however it may be that they run out of gas, 3-0 by half time and don’t see it out. We get stronger as games go on, they may not be able to achieve that. As with the whole season I take nothing for granted, but as Bunk said, the players must be absolutely buzzing. It’ll be an amazing atmosphere at CG, with another sell out, but I dare say Swansea wouldn’t mind spoiling Steve Coopers party, not sure how they feel about the way he left, I’m just glad we’ve got him. Assuming last nights substitutions we’re mainly precautionary, and no new injury concerns, I fancy us to see it through and pick up the three points, hopefully Brereton-Diaz does his old club a favour and scores a hat trick, or contributes to a Blackburn victory. I couldn’t believe how slow the clock ticked last night, 90 mins felt like an eternity, can’t see the next three games being any different. I’d sort of love automatic, would dread the play offs, but however it goes its great to have a club you can be proud of again, not the shambles we’ve been for the last number of years. I love the championship, hate the Prem, but that’s where the dough resides, so guess I may just have to reappraise, only time will tell.

We have to get there first, if we can continue the progress made so far and continue to develop home grown players we might do O.K.

I have just updated my spreadsheet again that removes the points gained in the first seven games the season from all teams in the league.

In this scenario, we would be top, four points ahead of Fulham and nine points ahead of Bournemouth.

Just WOW, what a season!!!

It's all irrelevant, of course, as if Hughton hadn't done so badly in those crucial first seven games, we wouldn't have got SC, but it's certainly eye-opening

I think it does underline that we have nothing to fear from any team - provided we get a set of officials that know the rules unlike the Luton game.

We’re in the playoffs. It’s as much as we could have hoped for pre-season. Pressure is on B’mouth, and they seem likely to crack.

Whatever team We start with today I think it will be good enough to beat any team in the Championship if they play to their level.

Off to Trent bridge first hoping for two big wins today.

At the end of today we could be second on goal difference, 3pts behind second place or 6 points behind and autos being out of sight

In all honesty, all 3 outcomes are as likely as each other as all the teams involved in these games are very capable but also have their issues to overcome.

On the Blackpool thread coming out of the international break I asked if 6 wins in 10 games is too much to ask? Well that was answered with 6 wins in 7 games so expectations have been met already and then some. So whatever happens today and the rest of this week I am absolutely fine with it, best outcomes are simply icing on the cake

What was that all about? Goal not given, Christie sent off for handball then goal given and Christie only booked. Winning anyway…
