MB going split the fans. Some of us thought it was required.

Fans....

Agree, surely no matter how bad things are or look your club will always be your club?

Football is the one thing gauranteed to break your heart or make you happy asf?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn’t the majority want to keep MB?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure mate? As an outsider it did seem a strange call at the time after all he did for them but boards panic ala us with appointing Lennie back then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think on here it was?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye reading the posts at the time it seemed a decision that the fans didn't want, but when have clubs ever took the fans thoughts into consideration?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You remember when BR left? I was about the only one not calling him a rat.

Great effort, shame about the scoreline but hopefully we can take a bit of confidence from that performance

Bielsa going was the right decision, and we've improved since, in my view. We are unforunate that Burnley and Everton have also picked up results in that run, as well.

Put it this way .....

Id rather be in our position than Everton's.

----------------Meslier
Ayling--Llorente--Struijk---Firpo
-----------Phillips---Klich
Raphinha----Rodrigo-----James
----------------Gelhardt

That should be our team for the rest of the season, assuming Cooper and Dallas are out for the rest of it.

played well today apart from sloppy defending and no composure in attack
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Alwyyas look on the bright side of life, eh, LDL? Truthfully, we never looked like we could get back into it. This is a massive boost for Everton and Burnley. Both of them have Premier League pedigree, we are stripped to our bones, it feels like we have not had a first eleven all season.

Aye, results were not going your way at the time to be fair but I always wonder if change at that time of a season is beneficial?

I think if you can get 5 points from your remaining games you'll be ok, gotta hope the players heads don't drop

Given that is guaranteed you must stand to make a fortune with the cash you’ve pumped on at the bookies then?

Just have to dust ourselves down and go again against Arsenal.. pointless today but despite the scoreline we showed plenty of ability and evidence we deserve to be in the Premier league
We are fighting for our lives and the players and the manager will be giving everything in these last 4 games to ensure we stay up.

I think we played OK.
Winnable games coming, including home to Chelsea who play Liverpool in the Cup final a few days later.

We played ok in patches and certainly had a great spell in the first half.

Bottom line is they are a world class team and take their chances.

Looks bad but we have to keep going. There will be another twist or three yet I think.

Some people going last time this result Leeds went down, last time that result Leeds went down... It means diddly squat... that was then and this is now and I say after today this Leeds side will come fighting back because the last time we lost to City 4 nil all be it at Maine Road the season ended gloriously for us... there you go, I'm doing it now!

Ultimately, we need to show a bit more guile in the final third, if we want to lay a glove on teams like this.
