People need to forget about the goal difference, it ain’t coming down to that.
Yes, get the 3 points. Worry about the GD later

Yeah, all we can do is win our games. That’s all we can ask the players. If the team start thinking about GD it could go horribly wrong. Let history guide you….
Surprised Milner got MOTM. Thought Keita was the best player on the pitch today.
Gomez motm for me.
Keita and Hendo superb too

Stressful viewing with a 1-0 lead, especially refusal to take chances for the 2nd, but reality Newcastle offered almost nothing and was comfortable in the end.

1-0 is never comfortable. Jota mane and Salah all should have scored. Can't believe someone on here thought Diaz was poor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Diaz played well but has to finish better.

Not sure why you're so sure about that, considering a one point difference between the two teams, assuming City win today.
It be sickening if we lose title to them by one point
Man utd.....tick
Everton.......tick
Newcastle..tick
Games where people thought theres a potential to drop points....next up spurs; another potential to drop points..but...its at Anfield.

Not like it hasn't happened before.
I been dreading that spurs game. They can easily get point of us. That's all they need. Son always does well and times his run to perfection. Keeping kane quiet will ve vital

Gomez was excellent. The right side which usually is a weakness was nullified.
He also attacked really well.

I don’t think we’ll drop a point.
Yeah , whole squad seems so focused , fitness levels look fantastic too
So pleased with the performance, some super sloppy passing and atrocious finishing aside that was an impressive performance. Rotated, battled hard played some great stuff from the back newcastle trying so hard and just made mugs of them at times it was filthy stuff. 12 pm kick off after 8pm wed.
Diaz is ridiculous. Bet newcastle dont put that much effort in pressing next week vs city or contest every decision pressuring the ref.
Anyone notice how dry the pitch was too? Ball holding up so badly. Didnt expect howe to adopt allardyce tactics and sheithousery
Good win against a a good team away from home. Should have scored 3 or 4 goals wasted many chances. Our defence was superb giving them nothing. Alisson was a spectator.
Gomez, Van Dijk, Diaz and Milner were best players. Matip was poor with his passing and looked slow. Luckily Mane miss was not costly. It was a sitter and should have scored. Jota could've had a hatrick. We only can win our games and hope some one stop City which I doubt.
Worst ive ever see matip pass a ball mixed in with some brilliant defending and some bad.
Jota should have squared to diaz
But overall a good performance, this new habit of keeping the ball and limiting opposition to almost no shots on target is a good one
