No, it’s all or nothing

Just to clarify, you may wear other clothing apart from the sombrero.

Have to change at Notts

Having those greats there will add enormously to what should be a fantastic finale. Add to that the fact that CK's takeover should have been OK'd by then and we have the makings of a wonderful day out. Just need the three points to cap it all off.

Just wish I could be there.

It will be almost unbearably poignant. The anniversary of the greatest of days, coupled with the darkest time in our entire history with our very existence threatened as never before. And all of this underscored with the defiant reaffirmation of the love we have for our club that has bonded us together like no other time I have seen as a fan, and which I have no doubt will be raised to one final peak on Saturday. And, maybe, an announcement that means that a line has finally been drawn under the horrors of the last 2 seasons and that we can move forwards with something approaching optimism.

Triumph, disaster, hope. All squeezed into one afternoon. I'm not sure I will be able to cope. The sombrero will help though.

Sombrero is Spanish for hat. You can wear any hat you like.

It’s perfect. D for Derby, black and white, and if anyone tries to take the mickey, he can explain how it’s actually a sombrero, and then the joke will be on them.

Getting the flowery shorts out too, Vidal ?

posted on 2/5/22

In Spanish, "flowery shorts" can refer to any kind of lower garment, so I can wear what I want, apparently.

pantalones cortos floreados

literally trousers short flowery.

Bought my train tickets and ticket to this farewell to the Championship. Mel eventually succeeded in getting us out. Hopefully it will only be a short period of exile. Warning I have not seen us win all season.

I have a sombrero de campesinos marroquíes which has a broad brim. I do not and never will possess flowery shorts.
Are we meeting anywhere for a wake?

If anyone is in any doubt as to the impact of our fans go to You Tube and search "Lee Charles Blackpool". There are two videos devoted to that game but the one with "Feck the EFL " added has more footage of the fans.

Absolutely incredible and it's great to hear what Pool fans had to say.
