Was too young to get the European cup of ours. Loved the trip to Seville and all that came with it but wonder at the cost of winning nothing that season due to trying to battle on so many fronts.
Was taken aback when you got to the final in Manchester but never really doubted you’d be turned over in that game.
This one, I’m not so sure about, but obviously hope it comes to a crashing defeat on Thursday.
Hearts to win the Scottish cup in an ill tempered final after extra time with 3 sendings off and a controversial goal in a 1-0 win.
Best of luck
The team has done us proud to this point.
Gios achievement in guiding us through to this point where we are only a goal down with the second half of the tie at Ibrox has been terrific.
The really encouraging thing about Gio in recent weeks has been tactical adaptability and he has hardly put a foot wrong in that respect since the 3-0 game.
Its been a massive blow losing Morelos and then Roofe for recent games. If Roofe is even 70% fit I would have him on the bench for thursday. If it is still all square with half an hour to go bring him on and turn up the volume from the stands.
It would be the stuff of dreams to beat Leipzig and I suspect if we have any chance of going through it may take pens.
We just need to try and stay in the tie as long as we can and then who knows what might happen......

Thats the thing the previous run was done by being resolute and scrapping for our lives most games, but this run has ben the opposite so their is genuine belief that could possibly do it.
Leipzig are better than the two other teams remaining IMO.
If we do win it then hearts can have the cup, I wont even care if we dont turn up still on the bevvy.

It goes without saying winning the Europa would vastly outstrip winning the league. It would be an absolutely monumental achievement.
The fact we are obviously rank outsiders and have a pretty significant injury list would make it all the more remarkable.
Deep down I suspect this will be one challenge too far - I think Leipzig will score at Ibrox - I find it hard to think the boy Nkunku can go three hours against us without getting a goal.
But, that said, you just never know - this Rangers team has continued to surprise us in Europe all season.

Nah. Winning on Thursday won’t be enough. To make this season a success it has to be winning the trophy otherwise it’s a case of “nice try but no cigar”.
And a team who surrendered their one title in eleven attempts with maybe one domestic cup in the same amount of time with a background of financial concern.
Anyways, good luck

brutal?
league challenge, a possible cup and a semi final in europe?
its only a brutal season if you consider Celtic $hite, I consider them very decent and your form has been as such.
So do you think Rangers should be able to win that league easily ? cos thats the only reason for thinking not winning it despite our other achievements this season as being brutal.
Disappointing domestically yes, but europe has been well beyond anyones expectation.
Brutal ? na
I didnt expect you to agree , you tend to sugarcoat most things about Rangers .
we will check the mood on Friday to see if this season has been successful or not
Losing one of the most important league titles to a celtic team in complete transition after being 6 points clear at the turn of the year would imo be brutal !
especially with nothing to show for it but a Scottish cup final Vs Hearts
Season would be a success if we get to the final lose and win the Scottish Cup.
Out in the semis and the Scottish Cup wouldn't be enough imo.
Incredible that Rangers have got this far, and fair play to them. Fans are rightly excited about it, as I would be, and would certainly feel the same about it being more important than the league. But this season I would say is slightly different, not only the guaranteed pot of good and a normal pre season for once, but we were miles away. We were mocked about our manger. So it’s some turn around and a hit of a snack in the chops for Rangers !

Personally will look back at this season as one of the most memorable in my 30 years as a ST holder. Certainly not brutal. Huge range of things but all of which make up supporting a football team. As far as seasons go it wouldn't even be in the top 10 of being brutal.
