Where is the boom?

I think we needed to win the game to put a bit of pressure on City, which would have added to the drama midweek.

However Spurs came with a plan and defended well. Referee had a good game, no complaints from me.

I'll not mention the first game.

The quadruple is still on but City just have the league to focus on now whilst you've got an FA cup final and a Champions League final to think about as well. Your players will no doubt be getting tired at what has been an incredible effort so far.

There is a very real possibility that you could just walk away with a league cup which would feel disappointing having come this far. I think you will do Chelsea but the CL final will be tough and probably poorly officiated.

It was always going to feel like this after a defeat or draw. We are so close to winning some huge trophies but one draw, defeat, mistake can derail the lot. For a manager and players that have been near perfect for so long it will feel like it does.

Spurs defended really well but they knew they couldn’t go toe to toe with us so can’t really criticise them for their style of play

I’m not overly worried by yesterday as I can’t see City dropping any points or even letting a goal in against the teams they still have to play

I just hope that we can win the two cups to have something to show what Klopp has done to our club 🤞✌️👌👍

Robbo one to watch for me, I’ve been saying it for games, teams keep getting behind him and I think Madrid will target him and Klopp has also noticed it

My fear is us dropping points could galvanise City whereas if we won, that combined with the midweek result could have made them crack. But on the other hand, I guess it's a different kind of pressure for them now, as everyone expects them to take advantage. There could be another twist yet.

I never really saw the quad as a possibility because the rest of the league is far too poor to lay a glove on city.

I'm kind of glad the PL is dead because I'd like to rest players vs Villa in midweek and focus on Chelsea.

We were never in control of the title race, and it is entirely likely that City will win all theirbl remaining games which makes the draw against spurs irrelevant in the scheme of things.

In fact, the only way the draw changes anything is of City draw one of their remaining matches and win the rest. If they lose then advantage goes to us anyway.

Tbh the quad was always a dream, and there is a reason nobody has ever gotten this close before. It would have been brilliant but the season has been brilliant anyway

All a bit frustrating because if I could pick one trophy to win it would be the league. If City roll Newcastle over then that’s it I think.

City can afford to drop points now. You guys can’t

I still think city’s games at west ham and wolves will be tough , if we can get 3 points at villa whilst resting players ready for Chelsea we still have a chance in the league

I like your optimism GB, but even if City lose just look at their fixtures they can easily get a 15+ boost to their GD in the last 3 matches.

Wolves and West Ham away are tricky.

The draw wasn't ideal but it was always a big ask and not in your hands.
The way I see it now is you have two games left which you have to win for glory. Wouldn't risk anything in the league. Good luck.

The Liverpool fans seem to have taken the implosion of their title challenge well.

Especially considering how much work it took them to reel City back into the mix.

Madrid to score 5 in the 89, 90, 91, 92 and 93rd minute to humble Liverpool. They are not the best team in the final but they weren't the best team in many of their games and it doesn't stop them winning.
