Tavares MUST start for our biggest game of the season worries me. I think Arteta will go with the players he trusts most and if White is fit then it could be him at right back but a back 3 is also very possible.

Spurs have struggled or lost when opposition teams play back…. 352 or 4231 that’s the blueprint

Arteta has to earn his money one win away from St Totteringham’s day can’t get better than that

Anyone but Tavares! Spurs will target him and likely tear him to pieces.

This is the idea I like most although Tomi vs Son would be preferable but White is quick and aggressive so I'd feel OK with that.

I think Tavares has great potential but given the fact that he wasn't played in the last game I think it would be extremely unwise to play him against the $puds.

His passing and positioning and tackling defensively have been dire and he seems to be a very slow learner. There isn't time to get him up to speed and I suspect if he plays against the $puds they will target him. 👀

The OP is completely clueless with regards to everything football related so hopefully titler does the opposite of any of his suggestions

Exactly , they will target him with Son who will tear him apart. Far better to plat Tommo and Cedric who are more experienced defenders

Only a spurs fan would want Tavares to start.

Cedric is far from the best, but he'll have a far lesser negative impact compared to Tavares
