Can't see anything but a convincing win for Chelsea, no way they lose to a relegation team twice in a row.

We definitely are
Surprisingly I'm quite calm about tonight, just going to appreciate it may be our penultimate home game in the Premier league for a season or two... Definitely don't want us to go down but I've just about accepted or resigned myself to the sad conclusion we are odds on to be relegated unfortunately unless we can get 4 points from our remaining fixtures.
Not impossible but to me we seem fated unless Burnley do us a favour and lose at least 2 out of 3 of their games and only draw their last game then we might be able to escape but it looks like our brief bit of euphoria we got after beating Norwich, Wolves and Watford was as good as it gets for us and we must return with our tails between our legs back to the Championship.
Reverse psychology, yes, absolutely in the hope we perform our great escape, but realistically how many times does lady luck shine on Leeds United.. Not many as we are the pantomime baddie, the villian that every other fan loves to hate and take pleasure in our downfall.
I shall put away my tiny violin now and leave it to provedence and the slight chance that there is a hiatus to the usual misfortunes and disappointments that have become ingrained into the dna of supporting Leeds United for the last 40 or 50 years.
It's only a game, it's not the end of the world... blar blar, blar... if we say it often enough we can convince ourselves I suppose but in all honesty this season has been like a slow death by a thousands cuts and the enjoyment factor has been very sparse, a few crumbs, but nevertheless the opportunity to dust ourselves down and pit our wits against the cream and the elite of the Premier League next season, I would still take a bottom 6 Premier League struggle over a long enduring slog in the 2nd tier any day of the week.
Come on Leeeeeeds!!!!
Call mr daft but I’ve got tonight’s game as the easiest game from the 3 left
Brighton’s away record is 3rd best in the league and they’ve found form
Brentford similar. Were a point ahead of us a few weeks ago, out of sight now. Very tough game
Raphinha was making me annoyed v Arsenal. Honestly wonder if its time to bench the lad. Shouting abuse at the ref almost getting himself sent off. Hes not done much at all recently despite all the hype. Id consider having James and Harrison on the wings and Joffy and Rodders up front.
Raphinha has not been playing for the team for a while now. Bielsa benched him, just before the club sent him on his way, because he wasn’t giving 100% and Raph appeared to have thrown teddy out because of that. It’s a shame because everything could have been different if Raphinha had applied himself for Leeds as he does for Brazil. I think he thinks he is too good for us now, it’s a shame he hasn’t shown that on the field. Raphinha won’t care if we go down - it’s the fans and the lads who got us out of the championship who will feel it.
Although it's painful to accept, especially when we need him at his absolute best, I feel you are not wide of the mark at all Maid.
....his tantrums against Arsenal was just so frustrating to watch - we could'nt have complained if the ref had sent him off.
he helped get bielsa fired imo.
i just hope someone pays way over his worth and we can bring in a couple of players that will give their all.

that's what im worried about. how bad can you guys actually get?
Thing is with Raphinha is if we stay up can the club hold onto him?..
Don't think they will but could they?..
We had a fall out a long time ago about someone that I think dropped us in it because he knew if we'd stayed up we could have kept him, and he was also a fans favorite!..
Hes already gone in my opinion. Heads been turned.
He's been gone a while, but if he has no interest it could be because he's scared off having any move blocked!..

How long have you got....
Can't blame Raphinha for either having his head turned by all the media hubbub following some excellent performances for us and his breakthrough into the Brazil first team - and the rubbish football we've been playing this season. He's had to do a lot of defending; he's not had a lot of opportunity to shine. Goal difference says a lot about how hard the attacking players must have had to work to save or win games.
I imagine he wants to be sold at maximum price because he gets a cut. If we go down, he'll go for a much reduced price and maybe get much reduced terms. I also imagine he's frustrated as hell not to have been able to play football, that the genius manager who attracted him to ER got sacked, that Paddy Bamford has been out for so long, etc.
Don't think we can just turn on Raphinha when the whole squad seem to have been misfiring. He's a magical player and I thank him for all his brilliant goals, assists and moments of breathtaking football beauty!
speaking of hanging on to Raphinha (and no, I think he's going going gone too, but for how much?), I see Haaland Jr is moving to Man City for 51 mill. That seems outrageously cheap to me, particularly if Wood/Rodrigo/James went for 30odd. Haaland is a monster goal fiend! If Grealish is worth 100, Haaland has got to be more, no? Is he not on the same level as Mbappe?

Man City met the release clause that was in his contract. Incredible piece of business by them and all we need now is for them to send him in loan for a season to the team he supports
… obviously it would only be right if they also continued to pay his wages.
City essentially paid full market value by way of salary, agents fees and add-ons.
I read on ceefax (I know, I’m a Dinosaur. I read the gossip bit especially every morning whilst eating breakfast) that Raphinha has made a deal with Barcelona that they can sign him if Leeds are relegated. IMO, if this info is true, this won’t make him want to score the goals that keep us in the Premier League!
Y'mean Ceefax is still a thing?
