Nah we lost our heads in that game, that’s what cost us ultimately . The pen was soft but its one that I’ve even given either way. Holding was on a yellow, so he’s dumb to throw a risky arm out like he did. We imploded after the first set back. Yes maybe the decision was harsh, but we had to calm ourselves after that, the game was far from over. A more experienced team keeps the ball, takes the sting out of the game and regroups. We couldn’t do that today. That is indicative of the mostly young team we are. Spurs kept their composure, we couldn’t today.
We’ve seen this happen in a few games this season. We’re getting a bit better at bouncing back mentally, so hopefully we forget this and focus on the next 2 games. We’re capable talent wise to win the next 2 , but hard to know how our bottle will hold out.
Take a step back.
Son should have been sent off before the soft penalty.
End of discussion.
Key word is before in case you are not putting two and two together.
If the officiating is correct there's no penalty and no red for Rob.
You can’t always rely on the officiating. It didn’t go our way today, but it’s about the way you respond. That’s the only thing you can control in game. We responded very badly tonight. The team looked panicked after the penalty, I think that’s where we lost it.
Here's a thought.. had Arsenal won tonight, the next four games for both teams would have been dead rubbers.
NOW, however, they are massive. The interest will be huge, and the money raked in therefore will be in the £millions. Just a weird co-incidence that penalties and red cards are flung out so easily and quickly, but all in one direction only?
Just a thought.

He didn't. His arm was down ams Son ran into his shoulder. The sort of thing you see defenders do all the time and never even give a foul away never mind get sent off

Exactly, Sky's big final MNF of the season would have been meaningless without the ref assisted result last night.

Holding should have been off before being elbowed for a kick in the back. Son was clearly targeted and it backfired spectacularly
If the penalty and red card decisions went against Spurs, or for Man utd or Liverpool, we'd have articles from morespurs and bitter Billy crying their eyes out, and one from sandyF crying about how there's a conspiracy against Spurs.

No, you can't give this pen. Simple as that. It changed the tune of the game completely.
Unreal that the FA keep appointing him to officiate Spurs matches knowing he is an outspoken Spurs fan. Madness
The penalty was sheet, but it was bleedin obvious from the first few minutes Holding was out of control. Red was inevitable. Seems to happen a lot at Arsenal too.

Yep. It’s so blatantly obvious it’s almost farcical.
Arsenal fans more concerned with pundits and sky ffs, they do the same thing every season with any game that has a narrative.
Arsenal fans concerned with corruption in the game.
Mike Dean is a Tranmere fan FFS
The only positive from last nights game is that Ramsdale made some fantastic saves to keep the score down
Mike Dean is a massive Tranmere fan, it’s not even a secret. Mike Dean once celebrated a Spurs goal in a game against Villa, he explained later on that he was celebrating what he believed was some excellent reffing by himself by playing advantage - he is a bit sad, not corrupt.
If you can’t see how Holding fully deserved to go last night then you are far too inserted in Arteta

So arsenal fans are on the same level as MoreSpurs and Billy, sandy. Fair enough.
As harsh as the penalty I do believe if that was awarded against Spurs their fans would have called the ref a cheat etc

what's the tune of the game got to do with whether the pen is given. It wad just clumsy, without that shove Son is getting on the end of that cross. Holding wad also a calamity.....your ire should be directed at your poor defenders because they gave the ref a decision to make, could have gone either way and went ours.
