Think Bobby will be one of those looking to move. Can’t see him happy being on the bench.

He's one where i think unless our valuations met we'd want him to see out his contract i imagine and take losing him for nothing.
Assume the likes of Kaide Gordon, Koumetio etc will be in and around the first team now and then again unless loaned out. Certainly for pre season. Isnt the world cup starting in november too?
Are we expecting a big signing in the summer, or was Diaz it and itll be another quiet probably porfitable window?
Has anyone been keeping an eye on any of our loanees btw, i know Neco was impressing at Fulham, what would you do with him?
No idea how the others have done, Sepp, Davies, Rhys, Nat?
Fulham and Bournemouth promoted, we expecting bids for Nat and Neco from them? Just seen Sepp played 48 games for mid table championship team preston
8 of the starting 11 over 30 next season. A total rebuild needed at Liverpool it appears.

Less worrying these days, look at Modric Benzema Lewandowski Ronaldo Milner etc the list is endless these days Moutinho, Fernandinho.

The contract situations is one thing I am not sure that we do very well. We shouldn't be in a position where we can lose players like Origi for free. That is 20 million right there that should have been sold last summer or tried to get a 2 year contract extension last summer/season before.
That is before we even get to the front 3 and all expiring at the same time along with Keita. Imagine losing even 2 of those players for free. Clubs will always find themselves in certain situations where big players let their contracts run down, but to have so many across 12 months seems slightly negligent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but if no1 matches our valuation i'd rather we stick to our guns. Did similar with Clyne and Moreno, turned down bids for both i believe and they went for free.

Theres a few ways of looking at it, for example Origi and Can cost us 10m probably got more than that back in loan fees for Origi btw. But anyway both contributed enough in their final years that made it worth more than selling for 10/15m on the cheap. To replace their level would cost more than the cut price we'd have received if there was a club willing to offer something anyway.
Salah and Mane cost 34m if we get another year out of them and they leave for free itll still have been well worth it.
As for planning theres only so much one party (the club) can do. Has to be mutual agreement.
As an Irishman I’d like to see Kelleher move on for his own sake. He looks far too good to spend his career on the bench and it’s not like Alisson is coming to the end any time soon.

That's a nice way to look at it but if they leave for free, that is 150 million worth of asset we give away, no matter what their contributions were in their time here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very true. It may not be the worst thing to cash in on Mane or Salah at their peak and invest in younger players.

Looks like calvin ramsay will come in from aberdeen so I imagine that means neco will be allowed to move onto fulham.
I suspect 1 of ox or keita to be moved on and right now that surely has to be ox. Keita has actually become a very important player for us amd has shown what hes about when he stays fit.
I think a mew midfielder is a priority and Id be amazed if 1 isnt bought. Klopp and co will have known haaland to city was done before he signed his contract extension. I dont think he signs that extension without some sort of guarentees the club continue to invest in order to compete.
Personally and its just me, if mane or salah dont sign extensions Id sell now. They will both still command sizeable fees that can go towards a replacement. If we wait a year and either walk away on a free thats a massive player we need to try and replace with no money comimg in. We dont do that really. When we spend big its usually becasue we have big money coming in too. For what its worth though I think they will both sign extensions.
As has been the case for a couple of years now we are in the enviable position of only needing 1 or 2 to come in. The days of needing 6 or 7 in are long gone. A top class young midfielder will be enough for me.

I absolutely don't want to cash in if there is a chance of them signing a new deal. The issue is that we should know by now if we're going to sign a new deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair. Both are top top players and I know players are lasting longer these days but if I was a Liverpool fan my only concern would be if they sign long term deals players of that style can sometimes swiftly decline after 30.
I think ox, neco and mini have to go. Also origi is gone ad well.
We def need a new cm to take over milner and hendo roles in future and a rb.

Maybe Neco can be that rb? dno depends on hos much he wants first team and if a clubs willing to match our valuation of him. Got 3 years left on his contract. Ox 1, what happened to Ox anyway not injured, but like minamino not making the bench either.

Neco will NEVER be another Trent, unfortunately
Evolution not revolution.
A lot of 4th choice types being talked of going so really there's just the few designs to make like milner and gomez saying yes I stay for medals not to play every week.
25 man squad, 17 foreign max so its not hard to see what we need to do.
