Isn’t your owner Joe Lewis linked to both banking and the 08 crash? Made a fortune didn’t he?
tbf, you are 2 games away from this being a pretty disappointing season.
if city win the league and you lose to Real then is the FA and league cups really an achievement given how good a team and squad you have?
I'd say probably not.

It's a weird feeling because I would have taken both domestic cups before the season began and I don't think it can ever be a disappointing season given what we've already won, BUT missing out on the CL by 1 game and the Prem by 1 point would be tough to take.
If we do win the CL too then missing out on the quad by 1 point would be excruciating despite being ecstatic at the CL win.

It will be disappointing that we couldn't win one of those additional trophies nut it won't be a disappointing season considering what we are up gaianst versus city. Prior to January as carra daid last night we o ly got a squad player cb in and yet we still managed to nearly win all 4 trophies. People were saying virgil was finished etc
Amazing effort by this squad of players. Even I was surprised last night by just how dominant we were against a good Saints side. That properly was our B team and we completely controlled it. Quite a lot of those players hadn’t started a game in a long while, outstanding from us.

I’d argue that a trophy is not riding on Liverpools last game as no matter what they do City can trump them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another way of looking at it is if we win, we might win the league. If we don't, we won't win the league. Whether it's in our hands or not, there is a trophy on the line.

A good saints side? They are dog shat and want rid of their manager. It’s a good win and nothing against Liverpool but describing Saints as good is just wrong. They are abysmal and are only staying up as Spurs absolutely gifted them 4 points this season

Southampton, 6 points off relegation places, are only safe because you lost and drew to them giving them 4 points
There's really no point talking to these opposition fans on here.

not to lose? came mighty close to losing at anfield against Spurs! boooooooooooooooooom!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I heard a story once...in a far off distant land that time forgot; spurs won a trophy, i thi k its rumour though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was 2008...and don't you forget it....!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Na your confusing it with the banking crisis of 2008.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree winning cups thee days is related directly to money, which in turn has something to do with banking, I suppose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn’t your owner Joe Lewis linked to both banking and the 08 crash?

They'll never get it. They argued tooth and nail that liverpool were fine ished and laughed at every signing we made. Everything they did was great and everything g we did was laughable.....
Time has proved them wrong everytime

You can sense they are ready to jump on the keyboard once the league ends this Sunday
I see seeds already being laid down how the season will be a failure

Doesn't change the fact that there is a trophy on the line.
