Toffolo dived all day long. Was already going down before any "contact". If he had not done that he would likely have had a shot on goal. But his dive then put doubt in the refs mind for the second.

We've had VAR go against us in every one of our matches where it has been used so nice to see it work correctly for once.

I'd also say that our fans were amazing the stadium was buzzing. Biggest surprise for me was that it was only 80K in the ground.

A tad lucky with the penalty (first one was a dive), but Huddersfield have been second best since Cooper arrived,

Forest fully deserved their third win over the terriers. A win for the neutrals and fans of football everywhere.

Have a great trip Waltzing 👍🏻

Colbeck thanked his LUCKY stars,
he knew he'd got off lightly.
O'Brian was bulldozed from behind.
right at that moment, Sambas effluent hole was winking 5p - 50p.
Moss eased his pain.

That said. Town were way too slow in the build ups.
neither Ward nor Rhodes later on have any quality balls to work with,

Why is Nichols rolling the ball out to the back line, when we are losing with minutes to go ?
& then the back line 'exchange' or debate..who's going to play the ball forward.
Give me strength.
Luckily. it was only socks bouncing off the TV.

Pipa over Russell ? why ?
Sarrs, completely overawed by the occasion.
Holmes should have started.

v Mansfield (Cardiff) no goal.
v 'Chef' utd. no goal.
v Reading, no goal.
v Forest, no goal.
& after this game last night, That would have been a $3,200 quarantine sting when I got back.

On reflection.........

As for Forest.
well played, in many ways I'd say both teams cancelled out the others threats.

It's a good day out for the winners.
Enjoy the Prem.....btw...
NOW... the nail biting starts
Cheer 'em on. You'll be right.

Robbed.

Moss loves a bit of red and wow what a way to go out, looking like the idiot he is and always has been.

Cooper deserves huge credit though, superb turnaround and don’t be given away with that cute smile underneath that toothy gob, he knows his onions and surely must take all the plaudits 👏

Still reckon we’ll be playing each other season after next 🤭

Do you think you will get to the third round of the cup though? You will already have had two chances to be knocked out!!

What a day!

The game itself was one to forget, but the occasion will be one to remember for a lifetime.

So happy for any Red under 30 odd (including my two) who are experiencing this for the first time.

You can look at next season in two ways I guess, the Norwich perspective or the Brentford one! The difference for me in them both is Norwich lost the connection between team and fans early while Brentford stayed united together. There is a real magical feel within our squad and between the team and fans and longer that lasts the better our chances

You lot are seriously under estimating how difficult it is to escape from League 1.

Can you afford a team for next season?

The recruitment last January bodes well for the new season; the club have an eye for suitable players.

As long as Steve Cooper signs a new contract of course.

It's a bit like that sky fella jobi whatever is name is....on the Friday night of the very first playoff game...he said...its not like any team is coming into these games with great Form!!

Ffs....we had just won the Las 4 games leading up to the playoffs....and now have won 5 out of the Last 6 with no defeats!!

It's a bit like russia today or north Korea...the pundits tell lies and don't speak the truth!!

Sorry lads but your going down next Sunday!!

We don't fook about in these playoffs and no hyped up media bull crap...or forest fans trying to big themselves up will change anything

A few weeks ago on here you lot was messaging me you would finish above us ending it with Fact!!

As usual you were wrong!!

There will be no advantages at Wembley with as many Terriers as forest fans.

Nothing the article writer rings true....we have the better record against the top 6 and a better record in the playoffs!!

It's putinesque your behavior

This has aged well.

Not seen Rev on here recently, unfortunately, but sometimes it’s the ‘hope’ that keeps you going doesn’t always kill you. Enjoy the summer because in about 11 weeks it all starts again.😍

I haven’t seen Rev post since around the time the Derby lot were saying stuff about his personal life, genuinely hope he is okay

Oh yeh, my apologies. Trust me, I've had a stressful few days. I've just got home from Wembley an hour ago, and that wasn't planned.

That's good news in itself Hydy,

Hopefully, all the negative is behind you now.
laterz.

As for the final, & the disappointment.
Stand fast Town fans,

WE GO AGAIN.

Congratulations to Nottm Forest. Really hope you can persuade Jon Moss to delay his retirement and sign a 1 year deal. Think you'll miss him massively next season.

A little bit bitter there. He made the right call on the first one but I can definitely see the second one being given although was it just a tangle of legs. It’s about time some of those decisions went our way. We might have beaten Bournemouth and gone up automatically instead.

He could afford to retire after the huge wad he received from Evangelos Marinakis.

I'm guessing he'll have no choice, if he is attached to his limbs/wife/bakery*
