I'll just give my answers to your points.
1. Both us and city are relentless, we have both had 1 sticky seaaon each. The other 2 we have been neck and neck but city have ultimately come out on top both times and credit to them for that. Theres no question though that both sides have raised the bar in terms of what it takes to push for a title. It remains to be seen whether any of the others can match us. Its why I said at the start of the season it would be us two as 1 and 2 again (admittedley I had us down as 1st). Utd fans will point out they were 2nd last season, cling onto that if it helps yous sleep at night would be my response.
2. I actually think city will do the quad eventually. Ive also said this for about 4 years now. They are the only team that dont have to rely on "luck of the draw" as their 2md string is good enough to beat just about anyone in the country. Nobody else can say this. They can make even 4 or 5 changes and their team is still as strong. Our squad has improved but it still doesnt have citys depth. Theres no doubt we have had some favourable draws this season which has helped us along the way. They were overdue though as off the top of my head we have had chelsea, arsenal, man utd, wolves away everton all in early rounds of cup competitions in recent years. Thats whats facked our domestic cup bids. Nothings changed to our approach to these competitions this season other than we have avoided "big guns" until latter stages. We will be out in the 3rd or 4th round again next season if we get a tough away game as make no mistake klopp will play 2md string teams.
3. Yeah, they are a sh!t show. Embarassing really, has to be 1 of the worst seasons ever produced by a team given the garbage that was spouted before a ball was kicked this season about how good they would be.
4. If they back conte he will make them a success. Hes a top top manager. Remains to be seen if they will back him. Spurs fans know better than me that jurys out on that 1.
5. Probably, why everton or newcastle didnt try to poach him is a bit of a mystery.
And agreed, not sad to see the back of burnley.
1. Yup not much more to say
2. Big window for Liverpool. Do you focus on keeping Salah or move on? I think the CL final will have a huge bearing on who you sign
3. Yup. It's a bit disconcerting how excited their fans are (at least on here) about Ten Hag. You'd think they were getting SAF back
4. Thing is, we do spend. It's such a lazy narrative these days that the money's not there. At this point all we need Levy to do is trust people to do their jobs. Please.
5. Maybe. But I think he needs a club that suits him. I don't think he's at the point yet where you'd chuck him into the United job, for example, and expect him to succeed
