I think we can get away with
3 Keepers

22 at a bare minimum for next seasons campaign but ideally 26 including academy players

5 Wingbacks - Spence, Doherty, Emerson, Sessegnon, Reguilon/New
5 CBs - Romero, Dier, Davies, Sanchez, New
5 CMs - Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Skipps, New, Eriksen
5 Forwards - Kulu, Kane, Son, Lucas, New
You only need two for each position and a couple of utility players that can cover a lot of positions should two go down in the same position at once.
5 wingbacks is just absurd. Imagine you're the fifth? You just wouldn't sign as you'd get no game time.
When I say two for each position, obvs that doesn't apply to goalkeepers.
cant see any of the right backs leaving and we will sign another there

I don't think it'll be a case of adding to what we have. I think Conte wants to rip up the wingback positions and start again. Spence is a great shout as he's young enough to understand that he'll be on the bench a lot to start with but I think Emerson and Reggy might be told to leave. We can't let two semi decent games cloud our judgement regarding Emerson. He's not a wingback so we should cut our losses where we can on that front. I like Reggy, always have but I'm not sure Conte likes him. He does leave himself exposed at times. I think the only safe ones are Sess and Doherty, which I wouldn't have predicted at the start of the season.
Same applies at centre back. Dier, Romero and Davies are going nowhere. Dier and Romero because they're good and Davies because he can cover two positions reasonably well. Sanchez will be bombed out though, I'm certain of it.
The rest looks good. I see Winks doesn't even get a mention Really hoping you're right about Eriksen. We might have to adjust the way we play to bring him in but it would be a no brainer for free. The trouble is, if we do bring him in and start him, he would naturally sit in a position directly behind Son and Kane in a 5-2-1-2 formation but what does that mean for Kulu? We cannot afford to move him to wingback or bomb him out. He's too good.

You might be right but whilst Conte may want his older trusted heads, you can't ignore the fact that our best right back of the premier league era, Walker, was signed from a championship club in much the same way. I think Rose was too. Some of the best players in the Premier League have started lower down. I don't think we should be ignoring that, particularly when you're signing someone considered to be second choice for a position. They have to be happy to sit on the bench and work for their place. If you sign someone 28-29, they're just not gonna wanna do that, not anyone of worth at least.
To ignore championship players because they're championship players is frankly stupid.

If Conte is going to continue with 3 CB's I want 6 in there. Two injuries or suspensions we are down to the bare bones.
I know you could say the same about mids and forwards but with the way we play that area is the weakest of our squad.
I can cope with 5 mids + Eriksen who can play further forward if need be. I'm all for rotation.
Also Sarr should be the 5th midfielder. He looks physically ready. 6ft plus. Could be anything.
We could have a situation where we play Wed night then Sat at 12.30pm. Rotate rotate rotate

3 Keepers - Lloris, Forster, Austin
5 Wingbacks - Spence, Doherty, Emerson, Sessegnon, Reguilon/New
5 CBs - Romero, Dier, Davies, Sanchez, New
5 CMs - Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Skipps, New, Eriksen
5 Forwards - Kulu, Kane, Son, Lucas, New
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Conte is going to continue with 3 CB's I want 6 in there.

The same goes with every area of the pitch though, don't really see us signing 2 CBs unless Tanganga stays
On Sarr, him and Gil should get loans in England
