Nketiah staying!!!

He's ok as a backup but that wasn't what he wanted to be so seems strange he's staying now. No excuse now to go and get a top striker considering that we only need one out and out striker.

embarrassing. the guy didnt even want to be an Arsenal player until Arteta threw a ridiculous contract at him. guy has 10 PL goals in his entire career

Problem is, the other striker we are looking at is jesus who is similar size to Eddie

Our style of football is to get the ball to the flanks and then cross it in to our dwarf strikers

We never learn. Nketiah will not elevate us; neither will Elneny.

Good decision. Hopefully wont be first choice but looks a great backup option

We're finished as a football club. End of. Nothing will change until #KroenkeOUT happens.

Scores a goal every 162 minutes played for Arsenal first team. Considering most of his appearances are off the bench, his goal record is very impressive.

23 goals and he has only started 39 games. I would suggest anyone would be happy if he ended a league season with 23 goals!

10 PL goals in his entire career

From 19 starts. Better than a 1 in 2 record

a PL goal every 198 mins

£100k a week 5 year contract well deserved

I like Nketiah but we're truly done out here. Should be 3rd choice striker at best. £100k/week is madness, Jesus is on less than that at City.

We're moving like a small club again.

Scored more for Arsenal in fewer games than superstar, world class striker Auba managed

Eddie averaging 2 PL goals a season since he joined Arsenal

Oh no, Eddie wasn't scoring PL goals when he was a teenager. Sack him off.

Harry Kane had 3 PL goals by Eddies age

eddie to score 21 PL goals next season!?

At least.

He needs to develop his game massively if he's to justify those wages and really help the team

Thought the wages were upto 100k which to me means it loaded with goal bonuses which seems ok.

£90k/week 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if this is true then I am DONE

Good decision imo. Over the limited minutes he's been given he's proven he can get goals and his overall play is getting better. Good enough to be our main striker? - No but a very able backup who will get plenty of game time next season.

This should now mean we can go all out for a top striker. Fingers crossed for Jesus!

I'm all for signing jesus but if him and Eddie are our main strikers we will struggle due to the style of football Arteta plays.

He only scores when the other team is playing very badly against us

posted on 26/5/22

Eddie doesn't have the tools to succeed in Arteta's current tactics. Scoring a limited number of goals without being able hold the ball up and bring our wing forwards into the game leaves us worse off than if we have a number 10 who doesn't score as many but can bring others into play.

90k a week would be madness unless something changes dramatically with his style of play or Arteta completely changes tactics

He must have incriminating photos

Pepe will go and we will still get two new forwards
