How we allowed them to score is incredibly frustrating.

Konate was put in same position a few times against Vinicious and he engaged him and stopped the cross. Vvd failed to do that.

You tried hard to counteract that by overloading the right defence. Thought Trent was ok to be fair, but his ability going forward would make me think twice about putting someone else in there, you get amazing offensive potential vs dubious defense, I’d take the offensive ability, it’s not common

I worry about the team after that blow, City are in the process of signing an out and out finisher to compliment their Premier League win and we could be waving goodbye to Sadio Mane.

I did call it at the beginning of the match that the TAA matchup against Vinicius would be interesting.

TAA fell asleep when he scored.

That was shte defending for the goal. He should have played him offside or closed him down

Didn’t get the fortune our play deserved but this always happens against Madrid. Very disappointing second half from us and poor all found for the goal conceded. Came up against a keeper having the game of his life too, typical. Still proud of the team for the season they’ve given us.

I thought Trent was a lot better defensively than offensively tonight.

His delivery was oddly bad.
