My eldest lad has the cosmic away kit, it’s really nice in person, looks good on him. That’s the case with a lot of these Nike kits - the photo leaks look rubbish and people balk at them but my boys have had a lot of Spurs kits the last 5 years and they’re very nice in reality. I hated the look of the green ‘Ajax’ one but it’s my favourite kit of recent years now.

These kits obviously look a lot better on a stick thin 11 year old or a pro footballer with 9% body fat. When Terry Five Bellies from down the pub who sits in the South Stand and hasn’t done a days exercise in 30 years pulls it on they don’t quite look the same.

Exactly Ace and Nike aren’t silly, they know their target audience. That cosmic kit was always going to sell very well because the kids bloody loved it and I suspect the leaked 3rd kit will do very well this time.

Shirt designs are targeted for kids across the world, the designs aimed to capture as many as possible. What we think as middle aged men means nothing to Nike

Bake `em you are probably right. But as I have never ever purchased a single shirt in 70 years, then they mean absolutely zilch to me. I cannot see the point of getting mugged off every season for new kit. Surely there are more important things for people to spend their money on than overpriced football shirts.

70 years? I would have thought a replica kit back in your day would have been worth the investment when they weren’t all that expensive and would last up to a couple of seasons at least. Surely you must have bought our 1951 league title winning shirt or were there replica shirts then?

Yep that’s a nasty looking shirt.

I’m liking the leaked 3rd kit though
