This is good news, providing it is reliable. I know from different sources on Twitter that personal terms were already agreed and it was a case of fees being agreed between clubs. That 65+m Euro package is pretty decent offer from us, so hats off to Levy for actually show some decent hands in this deal.

I think we need to calm down a bit. Inter don't want to sell and he doesn't want to leave. We've done everything we can though, so that's good.

I’m just worried that we go full throttle for Bastoni and if it falls through we miss out on other potential targets. Whatever happens I think it’s better a decision is made early.

Think of Romero MarkII -- hard tackler and extremely hard working and fit defender - has some nasty streak in him too. If Romero had a son....

Should have an answer soon, AC Milan are circling around Inters main target Bremer - they are going to have to pisz or get off the pot

Inter aren’t against selling at all, they need to raise the money and are happy if they can land Bremer.

Bastoni needs convincing as he’s young and ideally wants to stay at his dream club.

We have other targets too hence why we are moving early and making a very good bid first up

Having to sell one of your best players to balance the books is not the same as being happy about it. They'll definitely try and get the money from elsewhere first.

I get your point though, they'll take the money. The tough part is convincing Bastoni to leave Inter and Italy.

He’s conte’s no.1 target. Absolutely loves him. He’s high quality ball playing left centre back - would be immense with Romero.

He’s in London as we speak. Conte and Fabio need to be round there wining & dining him, selling our plans, CL football, the lure of the PL, our stadium etc while Levy shows him and his people how much we want him by making Milan an offer they can’t refuse. Conte is a huge draw for these guys, we have to capitalise- him and and Romero would be unreal.

Not sure how quick he is but he is a tall geezer, who has a good long ball on him. Nice left foot.
