Nope ….you need to re read it then
He said basically he would now be happy signing these two as you have Europa football ….implying he is settling for them as wanted better
Of course I may well have misinterpreted it myself and if that’s the case I will apologise but I don’t think I have got it wrong (on this occasion)

Not wanting to start a fight but have to ask …..your opening line says now you are in the Europa league you will be happy with them ?
Interested to know who you think you would be signing if you got the champs league place? What ponds did you think you would be fishing in?
These two players are champions league players and I’d happily take them both at Tottenham

Yeah I’ve a sneaky feeling Jesus will end up at Arsenal
Guaranteed starter week in week out
I reckon he would get 20 goals in a season playing regularly (cups included)
He can be a bit wasteful for city but he does come in and out of the team which as a striker doesn’t help you find rhythm

Gnabry a good shout to be fair as he already played for you but even with champs league football you wouldn’t get Martinez
If he is available he is going to one of the biggest
What is this obsession with Gnabry. Arsenal have 3 young players who have a higher ceiling and one of those 3 already has the same goals/assists in the premier league as opposed to the far easier Bundesliga.
in his last 3 CL campaigns Gnabry has 12 goals in 17 starts.
and some of them were against Spurs and Chelsea
Europa won't sway any top player toward a club. One willing go to Arsenal while not in CL would do so whether we were in a European competition or not.
So what? I am sure if Saka or Martinelli were playing alongside Lewa they would be scoring 10+ goals in the 'Champions League" as well.
Bayern would struggle to make the top 4 in this country. Thats how huge the gulf is between Bundesliga and Prem.
We don't need Gnabry. We just need to continue to develop Martinelli, Saka and ESR. Spending money on replicating skills that we already have in the squad will be monumental waste of money.
What we need are centre midfield players and strikers.
Bayern would struggle to make the top 4 in this country. Thats how huge the gulf is between Bundesliga and Prem
___________
Wrong. They wouldn't compete with Liverpool or city but they'd trounce the rest of the league.

Sure they would.
Chelsea won the CL last season. Where were Bayern? They would be fighting with Spurs, Man Utd and Arsenal for the final top 4 slot. Like I said 'struggle'
Though I am not going to hijack this thread.
This is about Arsenal's needs and where we are going to focus the supposed £150m KSE are going to spend on attack.
BTW. I love Astros as well. You think they are going to win the world series?

Yet another round of Arsenal transfer links pulled out of some random ITK's backside.
Transfer plan for Arsenal is simple if we have the rumoured £150Mil to spend plus any player sales.
Jesus - £40Mil (Prefer Nunez £60Mil)
Tielemans - £25Mil
Gnarby - £40Mil
Hickey - £20Mil
Saliba - bk from loan
The above players are all players that would be competing to be in the main 11.
What is this obsession with Gnabry. Arsenal have 3 young players who have a higher ceiling and one of those 3 already has the same goals/assists in the premier league as opposed to the far easier Bundesliga.
----------
Have to fully disagree with this comment.
Havent we learned during the past decade if not more that we cannot be relying on players with Potential. Gnarby absolutely wipes the floor with Martinelli and is probably better than Saka too.
Competition breeds success and hes shown a willingness to join us.
Why are Arsenal so fixated in developing players as going by the past if they dont win anything they will leave us in a heartbeat.
Saka is rumored to be stalling on a new contract as he wants a release clause added. Hardly breeding loyalty & Martinelli who knows what will happen when the teams that actually win stuff are keen on him.

Jesus is crap. CL clubs are after Nunez. Tielemens will cost a lot more than £25M. Gnabry not happening. Saliba will never play a competitive game for Arsenal and who the fack is Hickey?!
Hickey disgraced himself for scotland last night
Doubt we will improve the first team that much even if we spend 150M
Martinelli, ESR and Eddie should all be bench players if we want to be serious

Actually what we learned in our decline under Wenger and then the Emery episode is that buying or relying on players around 30 does nothing for building a team. In fact we have only righted the ship under Arteta on the backs of younger players.
Buying 'overly experienced' players brings in baggage and stunts the growth of younger players and ours specifically have a higher ceiling than those you would be replacing them with. Just look at Man Utd attempts at buying success.
Saka is ranked the best U23 player in the world. He has more assists and has similar goals tally to Gnabry while playing in a tougher league (look at how Jadon Sancho has disappeared in the prem). Saka is 6 years younger than Gnabry. Are you going to bench Saka for Gnabry?

It wouldn't be bad to have Gnabry at all but he shouldn't be priority as he's neither a CM or a CF/ST. And of course we have seriously talented younger players in his position who do however need to be managed better in terms of game time particularly with European games added to our schedule next season.
Agree about not necessarily needing more senior players, our worst players are the older ones and it's the youngest that regularly save theirs and the managers bacon through sheer talent and determination.
All that said, the right senior pro can be a huge asset. They don't have to be 30, even at 20 some guys bring that crucial personality to the team but we have lacked it big time over the years. Ramsdale seems to have it but we could do with more. I think the right CM could make all the difference for us, hopefully our well paid scouts can find someone of that mold.

Thats why I would love a combo of Jesus and Osimhen. Jesus can play wide left when we need a bigger man focal point.
And Tielemans or Neves (priced out of our range). If we are able to sign Arthur and Tielemans would be excellent.
Maybe that will also free up Xhaka for a move in exchange for Osimhen or Tammy.
