The cluelessness in this thread is embarrassing beyond belief. Completely pointless asking the majority of this board to share opinions on anything requiring knowledge that stretches bank more than a season or two.

Hi Brighty
I must admit I sold Pires short by ranking him below the others, but could have been just Spurs bias talking. I picked Sanchez too high more based on the ones stellar season he had, but in reality he didn't display enough consistency.
My renewed rankings therefore:
Salah
Bale
Hazard
Pires
Sanchez

Hey Jim.
I actually think number 1 (Bale) and number 5 (Sanchez) are fairly easy choices for me on this one. It’s the way in which Pires, a wide playing playmaker of underrated guile, culture and intellect (a lot of his goals were scored through his footballing IQ and positional awareness) is being do easily dismissed beggars belief. His goal return for a traditional wife midfield player (ie wide in a 4-4-2) was superb, his Pirlo-like affinity to involve himself from genesis to final ball in our build up and intricate execution of the time was unmatched and his reinvention after doing his cruciate from primary provider to second most prominent goal getter was testament to the IQ I mentioned earlier.
I don’t mind people ranking Salah and Hazard (I think he’s better than Hazard who had higher highs, but horrific lows) above him, but to dismiss him as competition at all is just indicative of how football fans today think speaking in absolutes makes their opinions mean more. Bunch of embarrassing messes.
Which of these players
