Apparently Maehle was excellent for Denmark against France also - he’s another RWB I would be more than happy for us to bring in and don’t think it would be too hard to bring him in.
My only criticism of conte is that he would always put Lucas on over stevie b. I don’t think we ever have him the run in the side he needed and I fully expect him to go on and be a hell of a player
Bergwijn is superb and regularly plays well for us, his issue is Son. I don’t know what we do, but if we’re selling it has to be for a big fee. I hope though that Conte finds a way to accommodate him.

Agreed, Conte isn't perfect. I think he's misused Bergwijn and this has led to him wanting out. We currently have no decent 4th rotational forward and not so sure we can find one better than Bergwijn

Conte has to otherwise Bergwijn will be playing on the right of the trio unless you are subbing Son, which looking at his scoring form, that would be a bit crazy.
Also, in the game Lucas came on, I felt that was the right sub.
Watching players in isolation always give you a lob sided view. Just saying

Agree with this. He hasn't really been given as fair a crack as Lucas, even when he scored those couple of goals against Leicester. Ultimately though, neither have been good enough these last couple of seasons, which is why we have looked elsewhere. Kulu came in and instantly showed them how to do it.
For whatever reason Conte doesn't rate Bergwijn highly enough to give him a chance. I'm more willing to go with what Conte decides.
I would keep Bergwjin, I reckon there is a top player in there, he just needs more game time to blossom. The problem last season was we were out of all the cups early and hence not enough games, and Son is always going to be first choice, particularly when playing one game a week. Next season we should have a lot more games, and we will need a squad to handle it.

Don't judge players who play for their countries. The level of international football is shte. The Belgium side had pensioners and other average defenders at the back.
There are only maybe three good international sides like France, Spain and Germany.

There are only maybe three good international sides like France, Spain and Germany.

Dint forget a few fans said Kulu wasn't good enough after one game. Kane was written off after his loan. Bale was nearly sold if not for injury to Ekotto.
It's all just opinions.
We really should be honest with ourselves..Conte wants wingers with a work rate. Not wingbacks who are defensive first but have an end product.
Perisic and Traore could be our wingbacks next season. Tells you what you need to know about whether Conte prefers his wingerbacks to be defensive or attacking.

Kulu I’ve been impressed with, he’s a really good player.,I haven’t seen dumfries much for inter but in the Dutch matches I’ve seen him he looks quality. Might not be a top class defender, but offers a lot in return going forward see TAA as an example of an pretty suspect defender who makes up for it via offensive potency (for Liverpool anyway)
